Have you ever opened Instagram, looked at everything you have posted and thought, does this actually add up to a clear brand?
I completely understand why that can be difficult to answer.
You are looking at your business with everything you already know. You understand what you offer, who you help and why the things you share belong together, but someone finding you for the first time does not have all that context.
They only have what you have made visible, and they are trying to work out what you do, whether it is for them, why they should trust you and what they should do next.
Most of the time, you are not sitting down and looking at that bigger picture. You are running your business, supporting your clients and fitting content into whatever time you have available.
One post is inspired by something you have seen. Another is created quickly because you have been quiet. Then you remember an offer you need to talk about.
Before you know it, you are posting one thing at a time without knowing whether those individual pieces are building one clear, recognisable brand.
Your visual identity matters too, not because your grid needs to be perfect, but because a consistent look and feel helps people recognise you and remember you.
If the bigger picture does not feel clear yet, it does not mean you need to start again and it definitely does not mean you need another formula telling you to post more.
Sometimes you simply need enough distance to see what is already working and where a few focused changes could make everything feel clearer.
If somebody looked at your business from the outside, would they clearly understand what you’re about?
If you’re not sure, I’ve got something coming this week that will help you see your brand more clearly.
Keep watching, or message me if you want to hear about it first.
