Today has been all about being made to feel welcome.

First, I received a warm welcome from BNI Dereham Diamonds at Dereham Town Football Club, where we gathered to say farewell to Kat, who set up the chapter and created such a friendly and supportive network for local businesses.

Then it was on to Dereham Auto Services to deliver their new branded welcome mat, ready to give their customers a warm welcome too!

🍊 Behind the Peel | #01

It's been a little while since I've been out networking, so it felt wonderful to be back last week!

The recovery from my first hip replacement has gone really well and I'm gradually getting back to normal. I'm still not able to drive just yet, so a huge thank you goes to my lovely friend and client Anna Denmark of Not Just Travel, who kindly gave me a lift to the Business networking meeting in Norwich. Your support really is appreciated.

I also took Stan,Tangerine Creative's mascot... who seemed to spend most of the morning charming the ladies! I think he enjoyed the attention (and the cake) a little too much.

Being back with fellow local businesses reminded me how fortunate we are to have such a supportive business community.

I'm feeling refreshed, optimistic and excited about what's ahead for Tangerine Creative, and I thought it was about time I started sharing a little more of the person behind the business.

Thank you to everyone who's supported me over the past few weeks. It really has meant a lot.

A little more personal than my usual posts today...

I've always had a fascination with architecture, and one building that has captivated me for many years is the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona.

I've been lucky enough to visit twice and each time I've been completely amazed by the creativity, detail and vision behind Antoni Gaudí's masterpiece.

This year marks a huge milestone, with the completion of the basilica's final tower — an incredible 144 years after construction first began.

In a world where everything seems to happen at speed, I love the fact that generations of people have contributed to bringing one extraordinary vision to life. It proves that some things really are worth waiting for.

If you've never visited, I can highly recommend adding it to your travel wish list. It is truly breathtaking.
