Q: How boring is embroidery?

A: As boring as you want it to be!

Everyone, I'm sure, will have seen regular branding embroidered onto workwear at some point in time.

Polo's or hoodies with a left chest design, and that is one of our most popular product lines that keeps me busy most days.

Many of you won't have seen what embroidery can be when you push the boundaries a little further. When you turn embroidery work into embroidery ART work.

Same process.

Same machinery.

Same clothing. Just with a splash more creativity... Oh yeah, and a whole load more time.

I like to push this process from time to time. To create a unique design to showcase what our machinery can do.

This piece has well over 220,000 stitches, 14 colours, over 1.5kms of thread and the best part 5 hours run time on the machine.

The Tajima TMEZ, which I ran the design on, ran absolutely faultlessly. No needle or thread breaks, no pull outs, just consistant running for 5 hours.

This is down to the machinery (obviously), quality Madeira threads and a well digitised file.

Did you know we never go straight onto your garments? 👀
Before we embroider your order, we always run a full test stitch-out.
Why?
To make sure your design runs perfectly and the quality is exactly where it should be.
If anything needs tweaking, we adjust it and test again.
Once we’re happy, we’ll send you a photo for approval — or you’re welcome to pop into the workshop and see it in person.
Only when you’re 100% happy do we move forward.
It takes a little extra time… but once we start stitching your actual garments, there’s no going back.
Better to get it right first time 👍
