I have just returned from a fantastic weekend in Glasgow, winning the Battletech Nationals! Now I am back at the keyboard, I have just massively updated the Kickstarter page - but here is an overview.

We have now funded 19 cars and 1 boat, as of writing this are very close to unlocking the 20th and last of the cars - the supercute little Standard Flying 9. Over the last few days we unlocked; Its small, its simple and its elegant. The Standard Flying 9.

You will notice on the main Kickstarter page that we have now updated the Locked stretch goals to reflect all of the remaining vehicles including the Peoples Choice. So, the lineup after the Flying 9 looks like...

Downeaster Fishing Boat
Deep Ones and Hybrids are an integral part of the Mythos world, as is the pull of the Ocean. The Downeast fishing boat (so called for that beautifully graceful shaped hull) has been a staple of the US Eastern Seaboard for a century or more so we chose this deliberately to fit into the Kickstarter. Fishing boats are ubiquitous enough that they will also look great on just about any period games - smugglers? bootleggers? gunrunners? This lovely model will fit the bill nicely.

Note - this will be a fairly large model but the forward section is hollow beneath and the rear hollow decked so its deceptively low on resin!

The Goose.. nuff said!

The Arkham Lady
No water or harbour themed game would be complete without a stylish and swish Cabin Cruiser. The Arkham Lady may belong to a Professor, Rich Dilletante or perhaps a Gangster but whomever she sails for she is a stunning model. Scaled so that you can fit 25mm based models all over her she comes in several parts - this is partly to fit her on a standard sized Resin printer bed but also to save on resin whilst printing her (there will be a full hull option for bigger printers or even FDM). The hull is hollow below, the central cabin lifts off for access and most of the fiddly boaty bits (not official terminology) are separated for printing ease as well. She is the most complex model with regards to this Kickstarter but is remarkably easy to print and assemble - the hollow hull means she doesn't need as much resin as you might think.

We are "testing the water" with boats - they appear to be receiving some very positive feedback which is great, please let us know in the comments if you think boats are a great idea or in future we just stick to cars (etc) and planes?

The Arkham Lady is the final vehicle to be funded in this Kickstarter (we do have a few more surprises though but those are not vehicley) but is not the last vehicle of the project. That honour goes to the Peoples Choice, the Ford Trimotor!

Ford Tri Motor
The Tri Motor is now officially the last vehicle and was selected by yourselves. We will have it sculpted with separate wheel landing gear and the option of pontoons (both flat bottomed waterline and full airborne choices) as well. As soon as we fund the Arkham Lady the Tri Motor will also be fully sculpted and added to both the STL and the "All in" Physical pledges.

Achieving the Arkham Lady (and she is well within reach) means that we will have funded; 20 vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, vans, pickups..), 3 boats and 2 aircraft. Added to that pot is the fishy bus driver Joe and Colonel Flashheart. Added to those will be a few more Cryptkeepers and 1 or 2 other odds n ends.. For both the £30 STL pledge and the £250 All in physical pledges that makes, we believe, this Kickstarter remarkable value for money!

Please join us for the last 7 days and see if we can share share share this Kickstarter everywhere and get us over the line (and we are currently tracking to beyond it) for the Arkham Lady and the Trimotor, and then.. we hope you all will join us later in the year for Mythos Motors - War where we will move the timeline along a decade and bring many 1940's sculpts to the tabletop.

There are now 18 cars unlocked, 2 more revealed and beyond that 2 more boats and 2 more aircraft - all 4 of which will be sizeable models and available as both STL's and Physical prints in 15mm & 28mm. The Project is still flying and, by the end, we will have brought an incredible lineup to the Table.

The lovely folks at Pulp Alley have also been kind enough to create a fantastic set of assets for their Pulp Alley game - vehicle cards for many of the cards from the Mythos Motors. And, they are free!! Yes, Free! Find them here;

The Elegance speedboat is now fully funded, this gorgeous watercraft will be available with separate windscreens on the final model due to feedback from our backers. We are also looking at getting some crew for her!
The next vehicle to be funded at £4,750 is the Mercedes W31 6x6, followed by the 1933 Bentley (returning to the screen next month!!!) and added to the lineup is the 1937 Mercedes 320 Staff car which is a superb automobile and also perfect for any WW2 era tabletop games.
That now gives us 15 amazing vehicles already funded with 3 more unveiled and 1 step closer to the awesome Grumman Goose which will be 1 of the Jewels in the Crown for the Mythos Motors Kickstarter.
We have also opened up a Poll for our backers as to which vehicle will be the Peoples Choice for this Kickstarter, so please head over to;

I spent the day at Salute '53 yesterday (the UK's biggest Wargames Event, in London Excel) and had a great time. I spoke to a few folks with display tables and games that suited the Mythos Motors Vehicles and they had a fantastic response.
I took a couple of bags of 15mm samples and when i spotted the incredible D Day board that the Milton Hundred Wargames club put on, in 15mm no less, i just had to say hello and checkout the scale of the 15mm Mythos Motors next to their amazing display. We checked out about 5 or 6 vehicles the scale is perfect, matching their existing vehicles perfectly. I was fairly confident that the 15mm scaling was good but it was great to see the matchup "in the wild" as it were.
I left them with a scattering of cars and it looks like we have attracted some more backers for the STL Pledge as well.
As of writing, we are at £4,221 and are edging closer to unlocking the Elegance Speedboat - everyone who saw it yesterday loved it all mentioned that it was just like the boat from the Marylin Monroe movie, which is great as that was the look we were aiming for.
Although we are in that mid campaign slog, we still have a full 3 weeks to go and are already well on our way to funding everything that we want to create from this project. There are still a few surprises to go and on Tuesday night I will post a more indepth look at the amazing Grumman Goose model which is, for me, one of the highlights of the entire Kickstarter.
For now though, if you haven't already, please head over to the Kickstarter and grab a pledge. If you could like and share this article as well please as that will help us feed as much traffic to the Kickstarter as possible!

What an amazing first 2 days on our Mythos Motors Kickstarter!
We have been smashing through the stretch goals and are now pursuing Lovecrafts very own creation - the Newbury Port Bus.
The bus we have created is authentic to Lovecrafts' description and looks fantastic. It will also come with an optional roof rack and a 28mm fishy smelling driver - Joe Sargent. Adds a whole new meaning to the definition of driving a Hybrid!
Please check us out over at ;

Can we also ask please that you share this update near and far? The more traction we can keep building the more amazing vehicles we will be dropping into this Kickstarter and we have some awesome sculpts planned.
