⭐ Another lovely 5-star review

It's always great to receive a 5-star review, but it's particularly nice when a customer highlights something that we genuinely work hard to get right.

Ema recently left us this review after we completed an order of T-shirts:

“Excellent customer service from start to finish. Chris was really helpful in making sure we got the designs exactly how we wanted them and kept in touch throughout the whole design process.”

The design wasn't completely straightforward, so it took a little perseverance to get everything exactly how Ema wanted it.

But that's part of the job.

Sometimes the easy orders are easy.

It's when something doesn't quite go to plan that good communication and customer service really matter.

We kept working with Ema, kept her updated throughout the design process and made sure we got to the result she wanted.

We're really grateful for the review.

Thank you, Ema!

THE FIRST ORDER ISN’T THE TEST.
THE SECOND ONE IS.
Does your workwear supplier make reordering easier?

The first order is important. But what happens when you need to order again?

A new starter.
Another size.
Ten more polos.
A jacket with the same company logo.

You shouldn’t have to explain everything from the beginning every time.

Good workwear supply should make repeat orders easier — not create another job for you to manage.

At Color Coded Workwear we want to build relationships that go beyond the first delivery.

The first order gets you started. The service afterwards earns your trust.

**Here's a question for anyone who orders workwear for their business.**

When you need to reorder, how easy is it?

Say you've taken on five new employees and need another 10 polos.

Do you simply get in touch, confirm the quantities and get things moving?

Or do you find yourself searching through old emails, checking which garment you ordered and explaining the logo requirements all over again?

It's a small thing, perhaps, but over time, it can make a real difference.

Your workwear supplier should be helping you make the process easier as your business grows.

That's what we want to achieve at ColorCoded Workwear.

**The first order is only the beginning.**

How straightforward is reordering with your current supplier??

Let us know, we are interested!

BEFORE WE RECOMMEND A GARMENT,WE WANT TO KNOW ONE THING:

WHY DO YOU NEED IT?

Understand first. Recommend second. Sell last.

A customer says:

“We need 30 polos.”

It’s tempting to jump straight into products.

But there’s a better place to start.

Why do you need them?

Who will be wearing them?

What sort of work do they do?

How often will they be washed?

What didn’t work with the last ones?

Will you need more in six months?

How important is comfort? Durability? Appearance?

Because the right workwear solution isn’t necessarily the cheapest garment or the most expensive one.

It’s the one that makes sense for your business.

That’s why we ask questions before recommending products.

Understand first.
Recommend second.
Sell last.

That’s our approach to branded workwear.

Before recommending workwear, ask one simple question...

Why do you need it?

A customer might tell us:

“We need 30 polos.”

But that doesn't tell us everything we need to know.

Who will be wearing them?

What work are they doing?

How often will they be washed?

What has worked well before?

What hasn't?

Will they need to be reordered later?

Does comfort matter more than durability, or do they need both?

Those questions help us understand what the business actually needs.

Because recommending a garment without understanding the requirement first is a bit like recommending a car without asking where someone is going.

At ColorCoded Workwear, we believe the conversation should start with your business, not our product catalogue.

Understand first. Recommend second. Sell last.

What is the most important thing your workwear needs to do for your team, comfort, durability, appearance, or something else?

THE CHEAPEST WORKWEAR ORDER
ISN’T ALWAYS THE CHEAPEST OPTION.

Price ≠ Value

What’s the cheapest workwear you can buy?

It’s a perfectly reasonable question which we hear quite often Color Coded Workwear

But sometimes it’s not the most useful one.

Because the price on the initial order doesn’t tell you everything.

How long will the garment last?

How will it perform after repeated washing?

Will the fit remain consistent?

Will the branding continue to look good?

Can you get exactly the same garment when you need another 10?

A £15 garment that needs replacing twice might cost more than a £20 garment that does the job properly.

That’s why we prefer to look at value, not simply price.

And that doesn’t mean “more expensive is always better”.

It means choosing the garment that makes sense for your particular business and how your team will actually use it.

The cheapest price isn’t always the lowest cost.

That’s what we mean by helping businesses invest in branded workwear properly.

Is the cheapest workwear actually the cheapest?

It's very easy to compare two workwear prices and simply choose the lower one.

But there's more to the cost of workwear than the initial invoice.

If a cheaper garment:

• Doesn't last as long
• Loses its shape
• Fades after repeated washing
• Doesn't hold its branding well
• Needs replacing sooner
• Isn't available when you need to reorder

then that original saving can disappear pretty quickly.

That's why we think the better question isn't always:

“What's the cheapest garment?”

It's:

“What's going to give us the best value for how we actually use it?”

And that doesn't necessarily mean choosing the most expensive option either.

It's about finding the right balance between price, quality, durability and suitability.

Because the cheapest price isn't always the lowest cost.

Branded workwear should be an investment, not something you have to keep replacing.

Your workwear supplier should make your life easier.

If you're the person responsible for ordering workwear for your business, you shouldn't have to become an expert in workwear just to get the right garments.

You shouldn't have to know which fabric is best.

Or which garment will work for your team.

Or whether embroidery or print is more appropriate.

Or where the logo should go.

Or what you'll need when you take on new employees six months from now.

That's what your supplier should help you with.

The conversation should start with:

“Tell me what you're trying to achieve.”

From there, the right questions can be asked and the right solution can be recommended.

It's something we've become increasingly focused on at ColorCoded:

Understand first. Recommend second. Sell last.

Because good workwear supply isn't just about supplying garments.

It's about making the process easier for the business ordering them.

YOUR WORKWEAR SUPPLIER SHOULD MAKE YOUR EASIER
You shouldn’t have to become a workwear expert just to order workwear!

If you’re responsible for ordering for your business, you probably don’t want to spend your time working out:

• Which garment is right
• Which fabric will work best
• How sizing will work
• Where the logo should go
• Whether embroidery or print is appropriate
• What happens when you need to reorder

That’s where a good supplier should add value.

The conversation should start with:

“Tell me what you’re trying to achieve.”

Not:

“Which product do you want?”

Because understanding the business first usually leads to a better workwear solution.

Understand first. Recommend second. Sell last.

That’s how we believe branded workwear should be approached.

How much time do you spend chasing your workwear supplier?

For a lot of businesses, the frustration isn't necessarily with the actual workwear.

It's the chasing.

Waiting for a quote.

Waiting for an answer.

Trying to find out what's happening with an order.

Having to explain the same requirements again when you reorder.

And that's frustrating because workwear shouldn't become another job to manage.

At ColorCoded Workwear, we believe good service should make the whole process easier.

Understand what you need.

Recommend the right solution.

Keep things organised.

Communicate properly.

And be there when you need us.

Understand first. Recommend second. Sell last.

If you've ever found yourself chasing your workwear supplier, what's been your biggest frustration?
