We survived! What a week, 6 weddings in 7 days, as well as baby shoots, event shoots, film screenings, and a hugely busy editing week. Thats the busiest May weve ever had completed,
So after both just getting back from our seperate weddings this evening weve met up at the beech for the essential coffee and chill out watching the moon rise over the sea. Reflecting on each other's days and events.

Tommorow shall be a studio day, backing up today's weddings. Getting the previews edited and out, emails amd admin, and then all being well plan to have an afternoon off before next week starts again 😀

We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately… not because we disappeared, but because wedding season has hit us like a freight train

This week alone has been one of those “what day even is it?” kind of weeks, batteries charging while we sleep, fast food dinners in the car and somehow still ending up crying behind the cameras at your vows 🫠

So before we vanish back into editing caves, here’s a little preview dump from a few of the beautiful days we’ve had the privilege of being part of lately

Different couples, different stories, completely different vibes, and that’s exactly why we love what we do.

Now excuse us while we continue surviving on caffeine and timelines for the foreseeable future ✌️

Were out collecting badges again, while we have a few venues we are recommended or trusted supplier for now, This one is always going to be special to us. Being the very first venue that actually added us to recommended supplier list, and still to this day we are proud to have been recognised as Trusted supplier of the stunning Solton Manor now 5 years later.

A huge part of our business revolves around the relations we make with both our couples and suppliers alike. Through hard work we work our best to maintain those relations working with the venues to bring a hassle free experience for them, and working together with so many friends in the wedding world that we have met along the way. here's to another brilliant year, it just so happens we are working on 2 albums from Solton Manor currently, so of course they will follow shortly!

Editing in progress tonight. After an afternoon of emails, some brilliant business news, and the sun has come out! Next week turns new heights for us, 6 weddings in 7 days between us so plenty to keep us busy. So tonight we shall edit! Albums incomming for those that are waiting 😀 x x

Things Wedding Photographers wish couples knew.... seeing as our most engaged with posts are generally photos of these two goons thought I would take the opportunity to tell people what we wish you knew because you're most likely to see it! Not our lovely polished work, no, the algorithm thinks that's too boring! Goons! Give the people what they want!

There are so many things I wish people knew but I’ll start with one of the top ones; timelines.

When your suppliers are encouraging you to leave more time, avoid things running too tight, or gently warning you that something might be cutting it fine… it genuinely is for your benefit, not ours.

Even the smallest weddings cost thousands now, and if your entire day becomes one thing immediately rolling into the next with no breathing room in between, you’ll spend the whole day trying to catch up rather than actually experiencing it.

The couples who enjoy their weddings the most are usually the ones who gave themselves space. Space to have a drink after the ceremony. Space to actually talk to guests. Space to disappear for 20 minutes and breathe together. Space for things to run slightly late without suddenly causing chaos for the entire rest of the day.

Because honestly? If you’re looking at your timeline thinking “oosh… that feels a bit tight” … it probably is 😅

Weddings almost always run a little behind somewhere. Hair takes longer. Someone disappears. Nan needs the loo. Uncle Dave vanishes before group photos. It happens.

And the sad thing is, the tighter the timeline, the faster the whole day feels. Before you know it you’re in your car at the end of the night wondering where the day you spent months planning (and thousands paying for) actually went.

Build in breathing room. Future you will thank you for it xx

Look who made it! Ive been dying to work at Broome Park Hotel more and they finally found us! Delighted to be exhibiting at our first wedding open day here this weekend. Simons leading this one with his stall and quite excited to be in such a stunning venue for tea and biscuits, I know weve got one couple popping to see Simon there, but he gets lonely and needs more friends 🤣🫢
