Christmas craft event for the Droitwich Light Switch On

Saturday 25th November
4-5:30pm

Crafts and Hot Chocolate included in each ticket. Only purchase a ticket if you will be participating in the crafts, our coffee bar will be open serving delicious drinks and cakes to warm you up before we all take a walk up to Victoria Square for the light switch on.

Each child will do painting craft and a paper craft.

BUSKER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION

Trophy, cash prize and a set at the 2024 Salt Festival.

The salt festival had a 28,000 attendance in 2023 so this is a great price in it's own right.

Spa Promotions Ltd in association with Droitwich Spa Business Association encourages buskers to come along and busk at our food festival in Salltbarrow, off the High St, Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire on Saturday the 25th of November, 2023 9am until 5pm.

Any busker on the day will be judged and the winning act will be announced on the day too.

Do you have what it takes to win the gig, the money and the trophy?

Just turn up on the day, see the food festival organiser and get your slot. It is as simple as that. Please note, acoustics only and definitely no amplification.

Busking is generally allowed in Worcestershire provided it is not for charity and-or you are not asking for money. Please take in to account the legal implications of busking and ensure that you comply.

As part of The Droitwich Spa Christmas Lights switch on Spa Promotions Ltd in association with the Droitwich Spa Business Association presents a mini street food festival, a Busker of the year competition in Saltbarrow off the High St and a pantomime taster in association with The Norbury Theatre in the Gurney off the High St.

The Food fest and buskers competition is on all day Saturday the 25th of November 9am until 7pm.

The pantomime taster is in association with the Norbury Theatre and Droitwich Spa Business Association, the local traders will be helping and supporting the Norbury Theatre put on a small show on Gurneys Lane on the 25th November between 4pm and 4.30pm.

The Norbury Theatre will showcase a local panto for the Droitwich public whilst enjoying the festivities leading up to the Christmas lights switch on.

Droitwich Coffee Culture will be offering free mini hot chocolate shots to enjoy during the short production.

Only 3 weeks to go to the annual Salt Fest and our Antiques and Vintage fayre. Friday 2nd Sat 3rd & Sunday 4th of September.

Mark it off on your calendar and be sure to pop along on all 3 days as there will be different dealers each day.
