There are definitely a few things I’d do differently if I was starting Silver Lining Social again now. 👀
I spent far too much time in the early days thinking marketing had to look a certain way in order to work properly. I thought I needed to be everywhere, posting constantly and making everything look perfectly polished all the time.
What I’ve realised over the last couple of years is that people remember businesses that feel human and consistent far more than businesses trying to keep up with every trend online.
The content that tends to perform best for me now is usually the content that feels the most natural to create in the first place.
