I spend so much time sharing the projects I’ve been working on that I thought it was about time I reminded everyone what I actually do!

For anyone who's new around here, hello! 👋🏼 I'm Lauren, a graphic designer based in Drymen, Scotland, working on everything from logos and branding to print, digital content and event design.

Alongside my full-time role as a designer, I also run my own little creative business, which gives me the opportunity to work with some lovely people and businesses on all sorts of different projects. Between the two, there's rarely a day that goes by where I'm not doing something design-related, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to know the people behind the businesses I work with. I love hearing their ideas, learning about what they're building and working together to create something that feels right for them. Every project is different, which is what makes it so enjoyable.

Whether you're starting a new business, thinking about refreshing your existing branding or simply have an idea you've been sitting on for a while, I'm always happy to have a chat and see how I can help.

No project is too big or too small, and you certainly don't need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. Sometimes a quick conversation is the best place to start!

✨ A little behind-the-scenes look at one of my biggest design projects of the year! 🏆

The National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026 took place in Birmingham this week, and I was lucky enough to travel down from Scotland to see months of my design work come to life!

For those who don’t know, alongside running my own little design business, I also work full-time as a Graphic Designer for the Energy Efficiency Awards and Association.

Throughout the year, I look after all things creative for the Regional and National Awards, as well as the Association’s wider design projects. From awards programmes, certificates and presentations to signage, on-screen graphics, tickets, table plans and everything in between… there’s certainly plenty to keep me busy! 😂

A huge amount of work goes into these events, and while most of it happens behind a computer screen, getting to see everything printed, displayed and brought together in one venue is honestly one of my favourite parts of being a designer.

There’s something so rewarding about seeing something you’ve spent hours working on actually being used and enjoyed by people. Even after several years of designing for these awards, that feeling never gets old!

It’s easy to get caught up in deadlines and move straight on to the next project, so it’s lovely to take a moment to appreciate just how much work has gone into it all.

A massive congratulations to all the winners and finalists, and to the brilliant team behind another successful event! 🤍

A little recent logo project I’ve been so excited to share 🩷🐾

I had the pleasure of creating this logo for the lovely Lauren and her business, Bacall's Dog Grooming — and I genuinely had so much fun with this one!

Lauren wanted something that felt feminine, fun and full of personality, with a slightly retro feel, so we brought that through with the soft pinks, deep burgundy and playful styling. I wanted it to feel really memorable while still being something she could use across all the different parts of her business as it grows.

I absolutely love seeing an idea come together from those first conversations into a finished logo that feels completely right for the person behind the business. And I’m a little bit obsessed with how this one turned out 🥹🫧🐶
