A fantastic night last night at the YMCA Black Country Group sleep easy event at Merry Hill. The event helped raise over £10k to help young people in the local area. YMCA Black Country is our chosen charity for 2026 and so we went along to help capture the event. Even though they smashed their target, you can still donate on the following link until April to help more people to sleep easy...

This Friday night (after a week of night shoots!) we’ll be spending the night supporting YMCA Black Country Group to help raise much needed funds to help ease the issues around youth homelessness. Welcome to 2026 everyone! This year as part of our ‘give something back’ campaign, we’ve chosen to support YMCA Black Country Group to help them on their quest to tackle youth homelessness. We’ve already signed up to their sleep out event in February 🥶💤. We’ll share opportunities to support later but for now, have a fantastic 2026 all and we look forward to making amazing content with as many of you as we can. 🎬💪

A huge ‘thank you’ to my friends at Reallusion in California & Taiwan for asking our own Matt Hickinbottom to write this article around a new ‘Smart Search’ feature inside their iClone and Character Creator software. The project in the article is for a feature length animated musical project that is currently in pre-production but was a great way to see inside some of the other 3D animation work we do. Well... if you know me, I always like to do something a bit different. I've been developing an app for Christmas...but typically, I can't release it until it's been tested by a group of lovely people. So... In short, this year (so it's ready for next year), I'm looking for a lovely group of volunteers (preferably one's using Android and have kids) to test out my 'Candy Cane Control Room' Santa app.
There's tons of internal tests been done and it should run really well to help give a magical experience to kids in being able to, not only track Santa, but check their Naughty & Nice list status, spy on Santa's operations in the North Pole and have access to a new mini game for every day of the week.
So... If you're an android user and would like to help me out in testing my app, please do drop me a DM so I can add you to the tester list and you can have early access to the app for 2025. If you're an iOS user, don't feel left out... I'm also registered with Apple so will be doing the same for iPhone & iPad soon too... but for now, it's the Android users I need.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mabel yesterday. An amazing piece of historic engineering from the 1950’s. We also helped to do some web updates for her lovely owners over at Worths Motor Service Ltd. Thanks for having us help out and especially for being able to look around Mabel - LUD 606 Bedford SBG! 😎👍

Mabel has been with Worth's Motor Service Ltd aka Worth's Coaches since new. She was used on charter, contract, and stage service work up until December 1978. She was parked up outside for 10 years then brought inside in 1989. Some work was done including replacement of the ash wood frame under the....

We get asked a lot if we do drone work and up until recently, we've been unable to show anyone our work! So we thought we'd edit a quick 60 second reel together of the last 8 months of being qualified. We were surprised as to just how many places we've flown! We currently hold a A1-A3 & A2cofc qualifiction as well as £5m specialist insurance, just for our drone. So if you ever wondered what you looked like from above, we can let you know! :)

An incredibly tiring but amazing experience shooting the movie ‘Playa Marina: Alice’s Story here in Chile. We’ve met some incredible people, worked with amazing locations and finally wrapped the principle photography today. Were now awaiting out flight to Iquique in the Atacama desert to capture some final B-roll before heading home on Friday. 🎬✈️❤️
