“I’ve learnt how to run a business but still got a long way to go! I also enjoy living a life I want to live and, of course, I’m blessed to have my gorgeous team”

✨Corrye said✨
“Over the past nine months (yes nine!) at KAC, I’ve learned a lot about creating engaging, purposeful content, managing social media platforms, and understanding what connects with different audiences. What I enjoy most is being creative, working with a great team, and seeing the impact our content has on helping brands grow and connect with their communities”

“I’ve learned that everyone approaches tasks differently and that there is always something new to learn! Algorithms change all the time. What I enjoy most is the creative freedom and having such a positive team to work with”

“I love getting to be a part of a growing business where everyone learns from each other. Being able to express my creativity within the company really helped me boost my confidence!!”

Well guys… we didn’t take home a win but that doesn’t mean I lost✨✍🏼To make the final for young entrepreneur of the year was something I was genuinely over the moon about - I work extremely hard and to be recognised was really rewarding🙌🏼

The category was tough but it’s not tough to see other young entrepreneurs getting recognised for their hard work also👏🏼Out businesses are our lives, we pour our heart and souls into them and being able to celebrate all together was fantastic!

Thank you to DG Chamber for the recognition and thank you to everyone who has supported me and been there on this journey with me🤍We are truly just getting started😉

Well done to on your win Mhairi👏🏼🤍I met Mhairi pretty early on in both our journeys and we have always supported eachother and had some really honest chats that have been so valuable to me! I’m proud of you and so happy that you are creating a life for yourself that you deserve! If that corporate job could see you now eh🤪

I’ve been shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the DG Chamber Business Awards 2026 and honestly… I’m so buzzing.

Yes, I run a social media business. Yes, I’m on my phone a lot 🤣😆
But what you don’t always see is everything happening behind the scenes.

The school talks.
Speaking to pupils about building something of your own.
Volunteering my services to charities across Dumfries & Galloway.
The late nights.
The constant problem-solving.
Keeping clients happy.
Protecting the vision.
Looking after my team while keeping the whole thing moving forward.

I care deeply about what I’ve built - not just as a business, but as part of this community. Dumfries & Galloway raised me, and I’ll always pour back into it.

And I absolutely could not do this without my team.

Corrye - you work so hard every single week making sure everything runs smoothly for our clients. The business would not operate the way it does without you.

Ellie and Hannah - nearly a year of you both being part of this and you’ve been incredible. I know you juggle uni and a million other things, but your support, your effort and your energy means more than you know.

Recognition as a self-employed person hits differently. People can tell you you’re doing well - and that’s amazing and I am so grateful for that - but when it’s acknowledged at this level, when others can see the work and impact… that’s special.

Grateful. Proud. And just getting started🤍✨

Happy International Women’s day 💜

I want to shout out the women that make this business what it is! Ellie and Hannah almost joined KAC over a year ago - they are my little side kicks and genuinely their courage to get involved when they were just in the early stages of uni makes me so proud that they are part of things🤍

Corrye has been part of the team for almost 5 months and the weight of the world has lifted since she joined✨She’s so determined and focussed on giving the best service! She’s a real assets to KAC❤️‍🔥

Thank you girls - you make me life easier and a lot happier that I get to do this with you all🫶🏼
