Stop sea life bleaching: ⛔️➡️ choose a sunscreen that protects you and them!
Sorry for the poorly crafted ex*****on. This past year I've been lucky enough to work from home, close to the beach. I've seen the shoreline and the sea change. From the winter solitude to the summer crowds. The proximity to the sea led me to take responsibility and research.
I've found out that the most popular lotions have ingredients that are not only harmful to our bodies but toxic to fish and contributing to the bleaching of coral reefs. I discovered the existence of mineral sunscreen as an alternative to the chemical ones. I found out that Non-Nano Zinc Oxide should be the safest. That you don't need a bottle-long list of ingredients to be protected from the sun. And that there are many companies packing it in cans instead of plastic. I still have a lot to learn. What do I know about it? I know for sure is that commercials featuring beautiful tanned ladies rolling on the sand like divas are not telling much about a product, neither influencing me to buy it.
This summer think carefully before buying the first bottle of sunscreen you find on a shelf. It could be harmful to you and destroy sea life. Let's gather information and shop responsibly. For our safety and the environment.
