The long weekend is upon us and the sun is shining in the City of Disco-very. We thought it would be the perfect day to shine some light on the businesses that are supporting DDE this year - some who have done so for many years.

DUNDEE DANCE EVENT 2022 SUNDAY 1 MAY 12:30pm - 3:30am

The first festival of the year is back in its usual slot of May and the scene is set for the city’s bars and clubs to welcome thousands of DDE-goers from all over the UK to celebrate a unique event in the dance music calendar.

We’ve extended the event to 15 hours to accommodate the first dedicated DDE outdoor stage which will open at 12.30pm. The daytime venues will kick-off at 2:00pm with a midnight finish, apart from the Selkie which will kick off at midday and will close at 6:00pm.

The daytime venues are free to attend with a ticketed closing party at Fat Sams which will have six different music areas including DDE’s very first trance room. More details coming soon along with the DJ line-up for the event.

CLOSING PARTY TICKETS
Early bird tickets for the DDE Closing Party are now on sale through Skiddle and they’ll also be on sale in Threads, Dundee from the weekend. £1 from every ticket sold will be donated to Maggie’s Centre in Dundee.

NORTHERN SOUL EVENT - SATURDAY 16 APRIL
The Caledonia Soul Connection will host the DDE Northern Soul event in the Bonar Hall from 6.00pm - 12.00am with some of Scotland’s finest soul DJs. Tickets can be bought through from https://dde.ticketlight.co.uk/order/gateway/13360223
