Today we officially turn FIVE! 🎂 Swipe to see my very first full time day at GC. In our old house, where my “office” was literally a desk in our living room 🤣 we’ve come a longgggg way since then in more ways than one. I’m so proud of Danni in that photo because if she didn’t take the jump, I’d never be here right now.
To celebrate I thought I’d share 5 things I’ve learnt in business over the years:
1. You’re always worrying about or juggling cash flow. No matter how much you grow or make, knowing your numbers is crucial.
2. Don’t ignore client 🚩🚩 and go with your gut. I know it seems like you should say yes to everything to make money, but when you say yes to the wrong client it will end up costing you more work and money.
3. You can’t do it all yourself, so as soon as you can outsource. It will not only give you work/life balance but will also give you brain space to work ON your business and grow it.
4. It might not seem like it but rest is so productive. Being busy all the time is not a badge of honour. You literally need to rest to be able to do your job.
5. The best thing you can do for your marketing is show up consistently as yourself.
