2026 has started the way 2025 ended.
Busy. But I'm very grateful for the 'busy'ness' and grateful for all the lovely people I get to work with, on some very exciting projects.
Meeting clients has taken me to some beautiful locations but this one is definitely close to top of the list!
Great Witley Church, Great Witley.
Because churches deserve branding too.

One of the things I love most about the job that I do is all the lovely people that I get to meet or work alongside. Sohan Kailey is one of those people. Bhangra dancer and storyteller but also just a lovely, down-to-earth person.

Starting today, Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July, is the The Arthouse takeover week at Croome Summer of Play. You can find us on the south lawn with a daily jam-packed, arts and crafts itinerary. We'll be keeping little ones and families busy with 'make and take' festival fun activities, exploring the bugs and bio-diversity theme, and finishing up on Friday with our 'Arty Party' day! Alongside each daily activity is the ever popular collaborative mural to join in and co-create. Everyone is welcome ❤️

We will be outside on the lawns, enjoying the natural surroundings of beautiful Croome and the summer sun. But also under cover in the tepee tent, sheltered from any rain.
The best part? - it's absolutely free to attend and take part in all the activities and take home your masterpiece.

With 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 fast approaching, I've been putting the finishing touches on The Arthouse takeover week. It's going to be such a fun filled week with something for everyone. I'm so excited for this event and for the first time, bringing along a lovely assistant who will be helping me with the activities.

𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
Now in its fifth successful year, and also now my fifth year of hosting the Arts and Craft activities at the Festival of Stories. It's always such a pleasure working with Boffy Arts and the magic they create for children and families. 

The six day festival will return across a number of venues throughout Great Malvern, with days for schools taking place during the week along with a fantastic weekend programme for families. The festival is a celebration of stories, with professional storytellers, children’s authors, illustrators, puppet companies, musicians, and theatre.

I absolutely love this festival. There is just something very magical about the setting, on the grounds of Malvern Priory, under the trees and lights of the gas lamps that inspired C.S. Lewis's Narnia’s – The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I have had so much fun over the last 3 years creating collages and storybook characters, book covers and junk modelling and the large format collaborative mural depicting the Malverns so to be back again is a real honour.

The Arthouse activities are free and all materials are provided. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there

𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚
A friend recently congratulated me on my new business, leaving me staring at her blankly, thinking she must be talking about my husband (sorry lovely friend). I quickly realised that others are probably unaware that The Arthouse has been a part of my work for the past few years. Choosing to only start actively promoting in the last year, it has gone from strength to strength. It is something I absolutely love doing as I'm passionable about working with children to make art accessible, enjoyable and fun!

I love my Graphic Design and Illustration job. But it's very distinct to children's Art and Craft activities. I don't want to confuse The Duckhouse audience with content of festivals when a client is waiting on their 8 page pelvic health brochure!

So I've decided to separate my business into two entities: 𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 for Graphic Design and Illustration, and 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 for children's Art workshops for Festivals, Events and Parties.

I've been working with the amazing crew at The Sunshine Festival to help bring a whole new level of fun for the next generation of festival goers. The organisers have worked incredibly hard to create a new 𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗘 that will be filled with many new exciting things for families and children to enjoy. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 is so excited to be part of this new area, hosting Art and Craft activities, offering a safe and engaging environment for children to have creative fun while parents enjoy the festival. 𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧 is a beautiful countryside mansion surrounded by extensive landscaped parkland near Upton-upon-Severn, south Worcestershire.

As part of 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 is so excited and honoured to be hosting a week-long, daily timetable of festival art and craft activities, celebrating all things nature and biodiversity.

From 𝟮𝟭-𝟮𝟱 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗻, everyday there will be an exciting selection of 'make and take' activities as well as a collaborative, large-scale mural for children to join in. All you need to bring is your curiosity and imagination and the Arthouse crew will take care of the rest!
