Getting booked on new business is great, getting re-booked by someone who has used you before is even better, it means they trust you to come and deliver again. 🌟

I was so pleased to return for the Alexander Wines Tradeshow 2026.

We delivered live socials at the event and have camera rolls clogged full of interviews, testimonials and B-Roll ready to edit and use for the rest of the year. 🤳

Considering I spend a large chunk of my working life helping others to get comfortable on camera for content I get SO awkward when I realise the camera is on me! I’m working on it.

In most of these I didn’t realise and it shows, from achieving a natural smile to ugly laughing and even that notorious is in there.

Looked better in my head to be fair ☄️ but we’re out here rolling around the grass having fun, doing anything to catch attention.
Social media for events is no longer all about showcasing the main show, on the day!
We’re prepped and planned in advance, thinking days and weeks ahead, keeping the content going all year round ready for the next launch, a story telling opportunity or a moment that makes you remember you’re part of something bigger. 🏟️🌟

One thing that really stood out at The Gauntlet this year was the strength of Scotland’s fitness community.
We are one huge community made up of many smaller ones like Orla’s Sweatbox from Hamilton.

Look around the show floor and you will see flags, signs, matching fits and groups of people supporting each other as they take on The Gauntlet.

The Gauntlet team tried hard to work with gym owners and their members to arrange group registration and ensure everyone was placed in the same heat, this resulted in a packed out spectator area and boosted morale for our athletes.

6. The Summer Gauntlet, July 2024 was a fully outdoor event with the athletes running on the track rather than a treadmill.
Heather covered this one alone whilst I covered another CrossFit event.

10 & 11 October 2024 The Gauntlet returns to Proving Grounds, bigger and better than before.
12 & 13 Elite CrossFit athletes participate in The Gauntlet as Proving Grounds announce it as a surprise event at the competition.
14 & 15 The Gauntlet Fitness Race flees the nest of Proving Grounds and establishes itself in the hybrid athletes calendar.

We’ve been here helping the socials grow to 13k followers, watching content perform high on a weekly basis, as well as selling out the event and making sure ads reach the right people. 🎯

This is your sign to get those special memories off of your phone and into your hands.
I hopped onto for a few photos of Heather & I to decorate our desk space and before I knew it i’d selected almost 70 photos and had a collection of memories in front of me.

It felt so different bringing them to life and holding them rather than just flicking past or letting them rot on iCloud.

I printed my happiest moments, my strongest relationships, clients who become friends, events i’m proud to have been a part of, places I can’t believe Hop Skip Fly has taken me, mentors i’m grateful to have had.

….and with that the 2025 season comes to an end 🫶🏼🥹❤️
