It's been a constant level of busy at the Toucan52 offices, and we are always grateful for this.

HOWEVER, we are even more grateful when not only the assistant is well enough to come to work for a few hours, but her other half (aka potential new son-in-law) turns up with a little picnic hamper lunch for the workers.

He's been very well briefed, pom bears (total favourite), the token 1 of 5 a day and a cheeky mid afternoon snack in there too. Hydration packed in as well, he thinks of everything!

A happy Toucan clan this afternoon, and fuelled for the days ahead.

This is the face we make when we see a client’s rankings heading back in the right direction!

A new client came to us through a referral after seeing a significant drop in their website rankings and traffic.

And this one took a little detective work - actually it's been a total pain in the proverbial!

There wasn’t one obvious problem to fix. We had to delve into what had happened, uncover some underlying issues – including a huge spam problem – and work through them carefully.

For a while, there wasn’t a dramatic overnight change but we kept making tweaks.

Then today we checked the data and thank goodness IT'S TURNED A CORNER!!

Rankings are returning, visibility is climbing and we’re seeing a significant upturn in enquiries.

SEO isn’t always about chasing the number one spot. Sometimes it’s about working out why a website that used to perform well suddenly doesn’t – and knowing where to look to start putting things right.

There’s still plenty of work to do, but this is definitely an excited toucan moment!

If your website traffic or Google rankings have dropped and you’re not sure why, it might be worth taking a closer look.

In 2 weeks time I'll hopefully have done something a little out of my comfort zone and helped support the work of Kangaroos.

I'm so incredibly grateful to everyone that's donated so far... I made my target 'ambitious' but am chuffed to bits with where it's at already.

If you can spare a few £ it would be hugely welcome and I'll even agree to let the video go public! I'm quite certain these will be the most unflattering images of me EVER!
