Very excited to see this rebrand and new website launch next week. It’s a big step forward for and one that I know she won’t regret! It’s always scary putting yourself out there in a more official capacity but always worth it.

I do have so much I want to add here though!

This month was the launch of a new website for Coastal Competitions - I am so excited for these guys and really proud of their efforts to make this new venture a success. I am hoping for big things for them as they deserve it.

If you like entering competitions then this site is definitely worth a look as ticket numbers and prices are very low.... and they are genuinely lovely, family guys which is also a bonus 😀

As always the site came with challenges as it needed a number of bespoke features. Got to love Wordpress for it's versatility - anything is possible if you do enough research!

Fish 2 Water - Sussex Open Water Swimming and Coaching website is live! 🙌

👉The brief:
A website that does all the usual stuff - course information, blog, about etc BUT it also needed a booking system that wasn't outsourced to a third party booking site. Why? It's expensive to have to pay monthly for a booking system that can also be limited on what it can do.

🤔 The problems:
A vital part of the booking/checking out process needed to include bespoke forms to be completed prior to checkout + all this information needed to filter through to reporting. Off the shelf Woo commerce doesn't support this.

💡 The solution:
A careful selection of plug ins integrated into woo commerce + some bespoke code + persistence & refusal to accept this wasn't possible!

So pleased this is all up and running and allowing bookings to be taken through the site + reduced admin time for chasing up forms!

Also, so pleased that Dee Harmer is already turning into a Wordpress whizz 💪

Not much on here from me lately, it's been crazy busy. Websites, logo re-designs, social management, more websites. Absolutely love it all though and feeling so lucky to do something I love.

My daughter made this for me, she's 14 and already has an amazing talent for story telling - I really hope she'll continue to make this kind of content. I get a lump in my throat every time I watch it, reminds me of all the dark moments, everything we've missed and all the things that are feeling so close now. Cannot wait to dance again, in a crowd, hands in the air! 🙌🏼💗

Today is International Woman's Day. Celebrated every year on 8th March the day is intended to encourage people to celebrate woman's achievements, raise awareness about equality, lobby for gender parity and fund raise for female focused charities.

In 1908, 15,000 woman took to the streets of New York to demand better pay, shorter hrs and voting rights and in some ways we have made progress and in others I feel we have pretty much stood still.

I am fortunate to know and work with some remarkable woman, their strength, tenacity, creativity, ingenuity and drive to achieve always inspires me and reminds me anything is possible. I hope I can do the same for others.

It was lovely to be a part of this online celebration last night. We have been working with ESAB - East Sussex Association of Blind and Partially Sighted People on their rebrand (to be launched soon) and increasing their social presence.

Our involvement with this charity has completely changed the way I think about design and online accessibility. Understanding the world from the perspective of a partially sighted person has made me even more aware of how important alt tags, image descriptions, camel case hash tags, large font options and specific colour palettes are.

Wow! We were overwhelmed with how many people joined us on Zoom last night to raise a glass to celebrate ESAB's 100th birthday. It was great to see so many faces!

Thank you so much to anyone that was there. It was lovely to hear a little about the history of the charity from our Chairman, Ian Fletcher Price and we were delighted Lady Field and Sir Peter Field, the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex could join us too.

Daniel Brookbank, CEO revealed a little about what's next for ESAB and we'll be sharing news of this soon!
