3 unpopular opinions I have when it comes to content creating…💘

1. POST THE EDIT GURL! Just do it. You spent all that time on it, or even if you didn’t. Perfection is too high a standard to put yourself under (and that’s coming from a Virgo) It just leads to burn out/crash outs. Imperfections show there is a real person behind the account, especially in this world of AI.

2. You don’t need a big following to have a career in social media. I’m booked and busy with under 2k followers. I’d rather have a small but strong community 💪🏻

3. Making mistakes isn’t a bad thing. There are so many ways you can make mistakes working in social media. A spelling error, a clip that cut off too soon, the wrong date on a graphic. It happens, you are human. The best thing you can do is not panic, and fix it because 9/10 times it’s an easy fix and guess what…no one died. It’s marketing babes, not brain surgery.

Learning from mistakes, showing vulnerability in imperfections and trusting the process even if you don’t feel like you have the numbers to back it up are all part of building something special. As long as you’re doing something, your winning ✨💋
