Women In Beer Festival is heading to Manchester for 2026!

SAVE THE DATE!

The 4th edition of our Women in Beer® festival is coming to you in October. The five days of events celebrating women in the brewing industry will take place from Tuesday, 20th to Saturday, 24th October 2026. In 2026, we are taking WiB Fest on tour, with Manchester as the host city!

We’ll launch the week-long celebration with the Women in Beer® Awards on Tuesday, 20th October, followed on Wednesday, 21st October, by our traditional Seminar, featuring a roster of panel discussions and talks hosted this year at Cloudwater Brew Co.’s taproom.
This year, we are also teaming up with the ‘Manchester Crafty Beer Girls’ group, who will help us showcase beers owned by or brewed by women, with a series of events and tap takeovers in pubs and taprooms across the city.

Keep your eyes peeled for more info to come soon!

April recap

Daisy joined in a hop sampling session with , and took part in judging for the Great Taste Awards. She also headed to Robin’s charity bottle share, judged the Battle of the Beers at Newcastle Beer & Cider Festival, and paid a visit to The Free Trade for the Sellar event in Newcastle.

Amélie headed to the Edinburgh Bar Show, to look at initiatives and industry insights from outside of beer that are relevant to our clients. She also featured on the new podcast, too.

This month we met up in Edinburgh and have been interviewing for our new hire. We’ve also started work with a new client, and have been working on new projects with existing clients, to help them to make the most of campaigns and connect with their customers in a more meaningful way.

A great (and important) way to start Mental Health Awareness Week next Monday.

With reports that 4 out of 5 hospitality professionals have experienced at least one mental health issue during their career, the work that The Burnt Chef Project does, supporting the industry and producing free resources, is essential.

March recap

We spent a wonderful couple of days in Liverpool catching up with everyone at BeerX (including a delicious team meal at Bundobust), and joined SIBA as a Supplier Associate Member.

Amélie celebrated the launches of her Women in Beer collabs, and discovered she’s a finalist in multiple categories for the Women in Food & Drink Awards 👏

Daisy ventured down to London to judge beer at the Great Taste Awards, spent a fantastic day at The First & Last Brewery in Northumberland for their brew day, and she also became a Chartered Marketer!

April sees us continue to work with our fantastic clients, and will also be spent on systems behind the scenes, as we’re currently recruiting for our first employee (exciting times!).

Something we’ve been planning for a while…Tipple has officially joined the Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA as a Supplier Associate Member!

For our clients (most of whom are members already), this is a reminder of our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry knowledge, insights, and connections within the UK’s independent beer scene.

Cheers!
