Extending our relationship with Welsh Distillery, Penderyn, we created the brand’s visual identity, primary and secondary packaging expression for the first release from their new Llandudno Distillery site. Serpent’s Tears is inspired by the ancient and unique landscape that looms over the distillery – a treacherous headland fearfully titled ‘Great Orme’ in Old Norse by raiding Vikings.

With the expression boasting a light peat finish and ‘smoky fruit’ profile we had strong brand truths to manifest visually. The result is a brand and pack that features smoky layered imagery and colourways that perfectly embodies the whisky’s characteristics and its distinctive and mythical name.

Raising a glass of W Edinburgh’s ready to drink cocktails to celebrate their Scottish Hotel of the Year award win!

We’ve partnered with the incredible marketing team to deliver all hotel assets since its opening in November 2023, combining bold design and modern sophistication.

Labels feature bespoke illustrations under a ‘Gods and Goddesses’ theme incorporating details synonymous with the Goddess of Night and God of Light. Look out for the subtle W mark too (on his belt and on her dress)!

We are very proud to have worked with Global brand Team to create the design for this new series of limited-edition expressions. Our role was to bring the bottle labels and secondary pack look and feel alive.

We carefully balanced several key messages to give variant standout, whilst providing important age, cask and bottle information. The secondary packaging opens to reveal a beautifully embossed panel that provides further storytelling and tasting notes, each signed by Master Whisky Maker Greg Glass.

We have been honoured to work with The GlenAllachie’s to deliver the brand’s oldest and most prestigious single malt release to date. As a commitment to the distillery’s unwavering commitment to cask craftmanship and boutique, small-batch whiskies, Billy Walker hand-selected six casks for this landmark release.

The oak presentation box was handmade in the UK and features hand-carved wood, a moleskin-coloured lining and brass details. The decanter style bottle provides an ultra-premium whisky presence, with product details directly printed on to the glass in gold foil.

Today, launch the first legal Irish whiskey from Galway in over 100 years! 🥃 Limited to just 360 bottles this exclusive release demanded a premium design worthy of such an accolade. We looked to Galway City for inspiration and brought alive the city’s bohemian and vibrant feel with abstract artwork reflective of the fluid tapestry of culture that the city evokes. Paired with gold screen printing and a bold red wax dip closure the pack is strikingly simple and premium. Sláinte Mhaith!

We teased our redesign work for The GlenAllachie recently but we’re now delighted to share the full project story, including imagery of the core, premium and wood ranges.

We set out to modernise and premiumise the range but with the loyal customer base always in mind, creating a connection to the previous design through colour.

We worked with U.K. only vendors to reduce the distillery’s carbon footprint and focused on implementing sustainably sourced paper, black and gold foils and a custom embossed glass bottle.
