Definitely don’t normally jump on these trends but 2016 was a momentous year for me, my family and Little Paper Soul! It was the year that we left Australia after over a decade there and moved to Scotland! I was still learning my trade and we took a huge leap of faith in moving back to the UK! No regrets but I do miss the almost constant beautiful blue sky’s ❤️

✨ I’m so looking forward to the next few months and the build-up to Christmas! 🎄

It’s been a busy and changing year for me and my family, with big events, big life decisions, and lots of spinning plates (which isn’t always my strong suit, but I’ve tried my best!). Exciting times, even with a few challenges along the way! 💛

I’ve chosen to do a few less markets this year overall so that life and the wholesale side of my business didn’t spiral out of control. The same will be true over the winter period, as I really want to enjoy the festive run-up with work, friends, and family. ✨

To this end, I’ve chosen a great mix of fabulous regular markets and exciting new ones. I can’t wait to spend the season surrounded by amazing artists, makers, and craftspeople, all supported by wonderful event organisers and independent retailers.

I had a wonderful wee holiday with the family in London last week. 5 days of catching up with old friends and being a tourist in a city I used to live in. So much fun ❤️ Loved this mural!
Work is taking a bit of a back seat this month as I enjoy some much needed family time. I’ll be in and out of the studio so not an absolute break but trying to make the most of July and all this wonderful weather with .macnamara and the kids. 🥰
