Great to see the launch of retail brand 'Merrick - Scottish Blackface Knitwear' - hardy, stylish with attitude
Today the GSA Biosphere is proud to launch Merrick - Scottish Blackface Knitwear. We're producing stylish, sustainable outerwear clothing made with 100% Scottish Blackface wool, all sourced here in the UNESCO Biosphere region.
We're also asking for YOUR support to take Merrick to its next stage as a social enterprise and a brand. For the next four weeks we're running a Crowdfunder campaign with a goal of raising £12.5k. This Crowdfunder has some very special rewards attached including a Bleat, Blether n' Brunch at Nithbank Country Estate - Award Winning 5 Star Country House B&B and a Merrick Mountain Experience with Way of the Wild. It's also your first opportunity to purchase one of the Merrick garment designs, with early bird discounts available from now until the end of the crowdfunding campaign.
The countdown starts now as we have until 7th December to make Merrick Scottish Blackface Knitwear a success. . Our Crowdfunder link is below; it tells the story of Merrick Knitwear so far and is a great read for anyone who loves rural heritage and the incredible potential of Scottish wool.
