Yesterday, we brought the team together in Perth for a day of catching up, sharing ideas and looking ahead. We were lucky enough to be invited to try the Caledonian Sleeper’s new Meeting & Events Centre, with Platform 5 providing the perfect spot to get everyone around the same table.

From company updates, to brainstorming walk-and-talks, it was a day full of good conversations, fresh ideas and plenty of catching up.

A big thank you to Fraser for capturing some of the day — stay tuned for some updated team imagery 📸

We are already looking forward to the next one!

With summer well underway, July was another busy month for the team, packed with exciting projects, well earned celebrations and catch ups outside the office. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to…

⭐️ Congratulations to Nadia, who has been promoted from Senior Account Executive to Account Manager! Nadia is a valuable part of team Muckle, playing a key role in delivering major projects including Spectra Festival in Aberdeen and the Royal Highland Show. Alongside her hard work and dedication to clients, she’s always there to lend a hand to the wider team.

📸 Our digital team headed to 21CC Group Ltd HQ to capture social and video content showcasing the organisation’s exciting new rebrand, helping bring its refreshed identity to life and spread the word across its digital channels.

🧠 The team also put their general knowledge to test at the The Marketing Society Scotland Summer Quiz in Glasgow. While we didn’t quite bring home the trophy this time, it was a brilliant evening catching up and enjoying a glimpse of the rare Scottish sun.

🎓This month, we rolled out the red carpet for Edinburgh Napier University star-studded cast of graduates at the Usher Hall. Radio presenters, Boogie and Arlene were on hand to host red-carpet interviews, capturing the celebrations and giving the class of 2026 the full Hollywood treatment.

🍦We helped the Vittoria Group launch Scotland’s first Amorino Gelato, bringing a taste of holiday to our doorstep. With press and influencers attending a soft-opening, the news has spread loud and clear, and everyone is so excited about the new addition to the capital.

✏️ This month we’ve gotten firmly into the swing of our brand messaging project with CHSS. Focus groups are in the diary for August to gather important feedback from service users, frontline staff and their Director team!

💡We’re thrilled to now be working with The Scottish Fuel Poverty Advisory Panel, spotlighting its role in scrutinising the Scottish Government’s progress towards fuel poverty targets and fostering collaboration across the sector.

June was a month of big events, busy weekends and brilliants stories. From the UK’s biggest agricultural event to capturing the next generation of change-makers, here’s what kept us busy this month:

🚜Our team was on the ground across all four days at the Royal Highland Centre, delivering media relations, social media, influencer management and even stepped into the role of the mascot. We coordinated media and influencers, facilitated a pop-up radio station, hosted VIP visitors, to bring the Show to audiences across the country. With more than 210,000 visitors, it was another unforgettable celebration of Scottish farming, food, rural life and innovation.

🗞️ With Alan Millburn’s young people and work interim report receiving UK wide coverage, we were able to act quick to land a Times Thunderer slot for our client, Dumfries & Galloway College . A rural education success story, we worked with Principal and CEO, Douglas Dickson, to show how the college has adapted to the needs of rural communities and is leading the way in securing high value jobs and changing the rural narrative.

🎥 We headed to Perth Concert Hall for the YPI National Event 2026, capturing social and video content as hundreds of young people, teachers, charity partners and programme supporters came together for Scotland’s biggest celebration of youth philanthropy. Perk of the job - catching the guest performances from Nathan Evans and Saint PHNX band! 🎶

🌍 Nathalie was at the Blue Earth Forum during London Climate Week, hearing from leaders from businesses including Candy Kittens and COOK about how to drive purposeful change - the biggest takeaway was that purpose should lead growth, not the other way around

⚽️ We spent the day at McDiarmid Park for RSABI Farmer Football Fundraiser, capturing social content as 12 teams representing farms, agricultural businesses and rural organisation battled it out on the pitch & raised more than £14,500 for RSABI’s vital work.

🏆 The team helped bring Scotland’s next generation of high-growth businesses into the spotlight, supporting Scottish EDGE as it revealed its Round 27 winners, with 32 ambitious businesses sharing £1.4m in funding.

We’ve tied the knot with Gretna Green ...

As the first-ever retained PR partner for one of the UK’s most iconic destinations, we’ll be helping to showcase everything Gretna Green has to offer, from its famous blacksmith heritage to its food, drink, hospitality and visitor experiences.

Welcoming more than 500,000 visitors each year, Gretna Green is a destination with an incredible story to tell, and we’re looking forward to helping it reach new audiences across the UK and beyond.

Watch this space for more from this new partnership ❤️

While we might not have found Nessie, we did see some monster results for The Loch Ness Experience!

After a busy couple of months, including a visit from Dave Bautista and the first launch of autonomous sub Micro Millie, we’ve wrapped up another hugely successful Quest at Loch Ness with more than 300 pieces of coverage, UK national media attention and a feature in the New York Post.

The Quest continues to capture the attention of enthusiasts and sceptics across the world, keep your eyes peeled as we’ve got plenty more to come 👀

May brought sunshine, new faces, team retreats and a busy June is just around the corner. With a packed few weeks ahead, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to lately:

🚜This month, we celebrated just one month to go until the ! To mark the occasion, we planned a fun and playful shoot highlighting the key elements of the show. With only a few weeks left until the big weekend, we can’t wait to experience the show buzz again!

🦒We launched upcoming Memories Week, securing picture-led stories, interviews and broadcast opportunities around the unveiling of their newly digitised historical archives. The exhibition offers a rare glimpse into more than a century of Zoo history, running 3rd–21st June at the Lemur Lodge.

🎤Our Account Director (and B Local Scotland Co-Chair) Hannah joined a panel at the David Hume Institute Insights Briefing to discuss the latest Understanding Scotland’s Economy Tracker. She shared her perspective on how purpose-driven business strategy can help build a more resilient and sustainable future.

⚡️The Highlands and Islands sit at the heart of the UK’s energy transition. Last week Eleanor attended the Highlands Renewables Conference at Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness, joining industry leaders shaping the sector’s direction.

🏔️We headed to Aviemore for our annual Muckle Media & Spey team retreat which consisted of two days of teamwork and plenty of (friendly) competition. With our team spread across the country, it gives us a brilliant opportunity to reconnect beyond the screen.

🦕The team has been diving into the depth of Loch Ness with The Loch Ness Experience, deploying Micro Millie in the latest search for Nessie. The latest Quest is officially underway, and while Nessie is keeping her cards close, our eyes are firmly fixed on the water. Stay tuned for our findings from the deep.

🤖MD Nathalie has been appointed to the PRCA’s AI and Innovation working group, collaborating with industry leaders on the huge opportunities in AI and GEO

Muckle Media & Spey Team Retreat 2026 ✔️
Two days of adventures in Aviemore, ft. laughs, learning and plenty of (friendly👀) competition, complete.

With our team based across the country, our annual retreat is always a valuable chance to properly get together, catch up, reset and have lots of laughs outside the group chats and calls.

Big thanks to Neil at for taking us through an afternoon of team building 🌟

We’re getting behind ‘s Keepy Uppy Challenge to help keep conversations around mental health going in Scotland’s farming communities ⚽️🚜
