It’s been a minute (okay… since June 2023 😅), but I’m still very much alive and working away behind the scenes at Able & Flinn.

Continuous work for North West Migrants Forum, Jackson Greens, RJ Woodland Services, Tenantcheckni, Steinbeck Festival Limavady, Nu Chic Limavady and my other business Chasing Light Tours.

Kicking off a new project this week for North West Migrants Forum – excited to bring one of their projects to life. Lots of meaningful work going on in the background, and I’ll be opening the books for new projects from May.

After a few quiet weeks with work I finally have some work to show.

I've spent this week designing a brochure-style website for a bed and breakfast located in M**f. Not only did I design the website, but I also took on the task of photographing the B&B, capturing the beauty of its exterior along with the unique charm of each room.

Upon completion of the website build, I'll be performing an in-depth keyword research and applying SEO strategies to the site.

This post has come about because not once but twice this month I’ve had potential clients comes to me looking for some minor work carried out.

This work requires me to have access to their domains DNS, and shouldn’t take no more than a few hours at most to complete but in both cases it’s over a week now and I’m still no further forward because the people who control the domains are being unresponsive and awkward.

Not only does this frustrate my clients but it also makes me look like a complete tool and amateur.

Your online presence plays a significant role in your success. One critical aspect of that presence is your domain name - the digital address where customers can find your business.

I dedicate most Thursdays to work on my own things. My existing website has suffered too long, it doesn't sell what I can do, looks poor and doesn't perform the way it should.

So today I've started working on redesigning my website where I'll be focusing on a new and improved design, performance and when it's finished I'll be optimising it for search engines.

Exciting news!

I'm delighted to announce that a brand-new responsive website for RJ Woodland Services is coming soon. Few small things to finish up on it such as adding the gallery section and updating the teams BIOs, but it's more or less finished.

I've been working hard to create a website that not only looks great, but also delivers a seamless user experience across all devices, and I've also been optimising some of the content for SEO purposes too.
