🎉POKER RUN ANNOUNCEMENT🎉

Firstly apologies for the delay in announcing the news, but we've been flat out to catch up with everything else after Poker Run 🫣

We cannot thank everyone enough for supporting the Poker Run.
From the donations received, all who entered, those who spread the word.
The many volunteers who gave their time so willingly.
The committee members who spent so much time and effort in ensuring everything was in place.
Our team of ladies who printed ALL the t-shirts 💛
MMS Design & Print for the quick turn around with the scorecards and Coven Customs for the stickers.
The catering The Heilan Coo Buckie and ice cream van Fee's Ices .
WAVE Radio for always being there with the banging tunes 🎵
Those at our destination stops who made us all so welcome, Grantown East Station, Lecht Ski Centre, Huntly and Dufftown.
Live Fast Die Old – Scottish Motorbiking for joining us for the day and sharing information. And of course Motorcycle Law Scotland who generously sponsored Poker Run and were there to answer any questions, give advise and join in the fun 🥰🏍

We can now reveal that together, we raised a whopping £9,036.83! 😀 a huge amount that will go to local charities. (The chosen charities will be confirmed within the next couple of weeks)

A huge good luck to our new neighbours in the Tyock Estate, Elgin - give them a looksee folks, especially in this perfect cycling weather!!! MMS are now solely based in Units 4 & 5 right next door.

Now that the 'cat' is out of the bag...
We were delighted when Gordon asked us to design the logo and branding for his new venture... we only hope 'Teddy' the cat approves, we think he does.... 😀🐈🐾
The large, custom-drawn cursive script for ‘Teddy’s’ is inspired by the vibrant and approachable typography of 1950s American diner and soda fountain signage. Its calligraphic boldness, flowing connected letters and prominent flourishes (like the elegant tail of the ‘y’ and the long initial flourish of the ‘T’ evoke a sense of nostalgic warmth and friendly, personal service.
The scale and hand-crafted feel aim to make the establishment feel both established and inviting, promoting a welcoming, nostalgic friendly style.
A visual ‘nod’ to Teddy the Cat - The tail in the logo loops back and underlines the entire name. This mimics the way a cat wraps its tail around its body or paws when it is settled and comfortable. This creates a “visual hug,” reinforcing a warm and friendly atmosphere for the restaurant.
We can't wait to see Teddy's open on Elgin High Street...

Over at Beet This Sauce, we would love to thank all of the amazing local businesses who have decided to stock Beet This Original Sauce over the last 2 weeks. We feel very privileged to be teaming up with some very well known local businesses.

This brings me to the next question. We keep getting asked if Beet This, will be available in the supermarkets.

The supermarkets are not on our radar.

We are supporting local and local, it will stay.

Farm shops, deli's, cafes, restaurants, food vans, garden centres, gift shops, butcher's and many more.

That's our target 🎯 💛💪🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Every single week for the remainder of 2026 we will be working our way around the north east of Scotland.
