✨Last week we went along to LCB Depot to hear NEU Wellbeing talk about practical approaches to wellness in the workplace. They had some interesting insights about the effectiveness of science-backed wellness strategies, and the impact poor wellbeing can have on a company’s bottom line:

– Last Year, poor wellbeing cost UK employers around £51 billion (Deloitte).
– Poor wellbeing costs businesses on average £1,490 per person
– Independent analysis finds that on average, every £1 invested in workplace mental health has a ROI of £4.70

Beating the Blues 💙

🩵You may have seen a lot of conversation around Blue Monday today. While the term was originally coined in 2004 as a marketing idea to sell holidays, it has since taken on a wider meaning. For many, it’s become a moment to pause, reflect, and raise awareness around mental health, depression, and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

🧠We’re using today as an opportunity to continue our focus on wellbeing and to spark a positive conversation about mental health by sharing what our team does to support their own mental wellbeing.

💪Because when we talk, support one another, and share what helps, we’re stronger together.

🏀Team sport is about more than competition. It’s about togetherness, community, and wellbeing.

🫶That belief sat at the heart of our recent branding work for Leicester’s Mattioli Arena and the Mattioli Charitable Trust.

✨Following the Mattioli Charitable Trust rebrand, we were asked to develop the identity for Leicester Arena and its new extension. The space homes the Leicester Riders, is Sponsored by Mattioli Charitable Trust and welcomes the wider community to enjoy sport, culture, and commercial events.

💪The challenge wasn’t just visual cohesion; it was about capturing what team sport gives people.

The result:

-A distinctive identity for Mattioli Courts that honours the Trust
-Branding rooted in community, diversity, and compassion
-Basketball and sport used as the catalyst for connection
-Visual iconography that celebrates shared experiences and unity
