Dads of Exeter! How have you enjoyed the summer so far while the kids are off school?

Our daughters are finished school now but our youngest child is 14- still in education. He’s called Monty. He’s creative, full of ideas, enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious - and he’s Autistic. Monty loves going to the beach with his family. He brings his Godzillas and Dinosaurs 🦖 then happily entertains himself, his family (and onlookers)! The water at Exmouth is Sooooo good right now, so we’d definitely recommend an evening swim 🏊‍♂️

We finish off with chips & an ice cream🍦 so it’s a lovely time for the whole family.

These two ⬆️ are such a great team! From Golfing at Woodbury to sea swimming at Exmouth and late night ice cream runs to Greendales Farm shop using their ice cream dispenser 🍨🍦🍧

What’s your favourite spot to visit with the kids? If you have an Autistic child, do they have any favourite places to go or things to do?

Date night in Exeter, with the better half 🕺🏻
Started with a Negroni for sir & Paloma for her., followed by Soup of day (divine) and sir had Steak (m/r) & she had a delicious sweet potato mixed salad with roasted new potatoes, rosemary & garlic. Dessert was lemon posset 🍋 for me and chocolate something for sir with an oat flat white times two.

There is lots of parking nearby and the restaurant has a warm and cosy atmosphere with zero pretentiousness and all the good vibes. Service was on point- a small issue with my main was handled efficiently by the manager so I couldn’t ask for more.

We will definitely return & bring friends next time…

Went for lunch with my daughter Darcy at this well established cafe/ restaurant in in called POP💥
From the moment we stepped in, I knew this was going to be a favourite spot to sit and relax 🧘🏻‍♀️. The welcome is warm, the decor is funky but inviting, the music is pure vibes (if you’re playing 🎶 then you’ve already got my heart ♥️ But then there’s the food 🤤 Famous for their epic Pizza (v, vg & gf options) We decided to go for some salad with hot honey, roasted pepper hummus with gf toasted dipping bread & Darcy had an epic sandwich with a lush Green Smoothie 🍏 The Chai oat latte was yummy too & although the puddings sounded insane we decided to save that for part 2. Thanks for the amazing service and delicious food ~ The take away oat flat white made by the girl with the golden eyes was perfect too 👌we’ll be back 💛
