Founded by Sarah Sabater and Manuel Sabater, CareYourWay has grown from a family-run home care provider into an award winning franchise business expanding nationally across the UK, without losing any of the values it was built upon.
I was honoured to be invited to their 20th Anniversary event in Devon last week, meeting not only their amazing management – Jonathan Sabater, Anna Potgieter and Michelle H***e, but some of their exceptional care team, friends and family (even the next door neighbour!)
It was a fantastic event, but also a deeply personal one for me. Having recently lost my father, and having navigated the realities of home-based end-of-life care with my family, much of Sarah’s presentation truly resonated. When you’ve experienced that chapter of life firsthand, you understand just how important compassionate, consistent, dignified care really is, not just for the individual, but for the entire family.
What stood out most for me was the chance to meet several of Sarah’s care team. The warmth, empathy and quiet professionalism they bring to their roles is remarkable. You can feel that this isn’t “just a job” — it’s a vocation rooted in genuine care and compassion.
As CareYourWay continues its national franchising journey, it’s clear that Sarah’s ethos — family first, people first, care first — remains firmly at the heart of the business. Growth hasn’t diluted the culture; it’s strengthened the opportunity to deliver that same standard of care to ever more families across the country.
