Everyone at the Whiteley Warriors Basketball would like to wish all of our followers a very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊 ❤️ 😀 and a massive THANK YOU for all the support this year.

We done some amazing things over the last 12 months, which wouldn't have happened without the support and commitment from our players, coaches and parents.

We hope that the New Year brings happiness and joy, and we look forward to seeing you this weekend for the last sessions of the year.

We are very proud to announce that Birkett Bespoke Branding has Sponsored the Solent Area Basketball Association Intermediate Cup, and will be paying for the medals for the players and teams who reach the finals at the end of the season 22/23

We already sponsor Whiteley Warriors Basketball and business owner Gareth Birkett who is on the SABA committee didnt want to name the cup after the business but instead help spread awareness for a very important local charity.

"I have decided not to name the cup after the business, but instead dedicate it to a wonderful local young girl called Sophie who lost her battle to childhood cancer last year"

The Cup and Competition will be now known as The Sophie's Legacy Intermediate Cup, which has lots of local Men's Basketball Teams competing for the sought after 🏆

The Trophy will always have a Yellow Ribbon 🎗 in Sophies memory.

The charity is doing amazing work in her memory, and we wanted to make sure we spread that awarness for as long as possible.

Such a great event

Great scenes yesterday down at Meadowside Leisure Centre, which hosted the first of the U10s SABA Junior CVL campaign.

The place was buzzing with excitement, and it was absolutely fantastic to see so many people enjoying local league junior Basketball again.

Congratulations to all involved, and next week they host the U12s
