Hello! It feels like the right time to properly introduce myself again 👋
I’m the face behind The Bobbin Owl — a busy mum who turned a love of making into a small embroidery & printing business. What started with keepsake stitching has grown into something I’m really proud of, and am going to try really hard to share here with you too…🙈😂

I now create: ✨ Keepsake sweatshirts — turning precious baby clothes into wearable memories 🎨 Printed and embroidered pieces — fun, personalised designs (launching sooooon! Eek!) 👕 Custom workwear — helping small businesses & clubs look the part
Everything is made with care, creativity, and a lot of caffeine-fuelled evenings after bedtime.

My favourite 5 year old 🥹 modelling his birthday jumper which he loves and put on straight away 🙌 complete with Pokemon belt 🙈😂 what a look!! Can’t believe my boy is 5 - the one who made me a mum and blows me away with his kindness and creativity every day. In his words - I love him all the land 💕.

I think a number jumper is the perfect pressie, especially when they start recognising numbers and are excited about the year they are about to be. I sized up so he can get full wear in the year ahead too! I chose a classic Mickey Mouse fabric as it’s still a firm favourite here, but it would be perfect to use a favourite print from the year (his outgrown Spiderman tshirt was almost used!!) or if you have a request for a little person’s favourite thing I will always try and find it! I love a custom detail 🧵. You can choose a big number like this one, or a smaller one on the top left of a sweatshirt. You could also go for it on the back if you’d rather, and feel free to include any embroidered text or name too - the design possibilities are many!

How cute is this 🥹💕

I’ll be back to more festive offerings this week, but I made this a few weeks ago and it was finally received as a gift for a new baby! So I just had to share! The smallest sweatshirt size (0-6months… made me a bit emotional 🥲) in a gorgeous dusty rose pink, super soft with poppers using 100% organic cotton.

Makes the perfect thoughtful eco-friendly gift with lots of fabrics and colours to choose from. Or you could buy a gift voucher so a new mum can choose her own using a first babygrow perhaps.

Christmas decs!

Beautiful (if I do say so myself) embroidered initials using festive fabrics, that make a lovely personalised gift. Perfect for a matching family set on the tree, or add it to a blank card for a thoughtful gift and card in one - easy to post (still plenty of time!). A nice end of term gift for teachers or special co-workers even…secret Santa anyone?!

Talking of which I can fully customise as I make each one to order, so if you want to add an embroidered name to an initial or a fun phrase, just let me know! I’m currently working on a custom set (which I’ll post once I know they’ve already gifted!).

The larger shape decorations (in Star heart or Tree shape) you can add any text - a lovely First Christmas decoration or with a family name perhaps.

All decorations use festive fabric of your choice (the options will be on the website tonight!) or if you have any Christmas clothes or fabrics of your own you’d like to use, get in touch to arrange ⭐️
