Local-ish peeps!
Whitestone Media are looking for a new home!! We've been at the Old Town Hall in Aldershot for a little while now and unfortunately our tenancy is coming to an end. We have some potential for longer term, bigger picture ideas, but in the meantime we're looking for some office space. There are just a few basic things that we need:
Some kind of ground floor access.
24 hours access.
Room for 4-5 people to work, plus storage space for a silly amount of kit (hence the ground floor element).
Some useful parking.

We love quirky and unusual spaces...but we're really open to ideas. If anybody has any ideas, leads, or indeed, space that would work for us. It doesn't have to be Aldershot.

We wanted to create a showreel that was aimed in particular at charities and other organisations where there are important stories to be captured and told...and it was humbling for us, looking back over at some of the incredible opportunities we've had, even just over the last few years, to help produce comms and strategies for some wonderful organisations and individuals.

So our message is - in this time of uncertainty, be intentional about your direction.

Very proud and humbled to have produced this piece for The Trussell Trust - a poem written by a user, recited by food bank volunteers around the UK - the filming of which was a powerful and moving experience for us.

Since lockdown, we've been developing our virtual event offering, based around the famous vMix platform. A key client for us has been Climate Action, working in partnership with Duna Films. Here's a little highlights video capturing a typical production for such an event, working with speakers from around the globe, all remotely controlled from our basement office in Farnham.

Today was one of those days that seemed nothing like work whatsoever - working with the ever inspiring Chris Wood and Barney Jeavons at the beautifully run Rimshot Productions studio in Kent - feeling very much in awe of all the incredible analogue and vintage sound kit. What a wonderful place, with wonderful people. We shot a number of social media pieces for Chris and a bunch of song records too, from the current album.
