With Shepherd Neame on board, Faversham Monopoly is one step closer to going into production!
Huge congratulations to Liz Jeffery from Shore Way Marketing on embracing the herculean challenge of making sure Faversham has its own dedicated monopoly game.
She's brought together the community and many of Faversham's businesses to make this dream a reality.
The game is going off to production on 17th April, so now is the very last chance for businesses to get involved and join other amazing local organisations such as Shepherd Neame, Faversham Markets, Harrisons Homes, Belmont House, Faversham Pools, Barley Mow, the Shrine of St Jude and many more.
Contact Liz on [email protected] as soon as possible.
Faversham’s long-held dream of seeing itself immortalised on its very own Monopoly board is set to pass go - and we are proud to announce that we are joining the local landmarks taking pride of place!
Our town’s board game will be licensed by makers Hasbro, and feature local businesses and landmarks including our famously Faversham-based brewery.
Local marketing agency, Shore Way Marketing , is the driving force behind the Faversham Monopoly project.
The Faversham version is also being created with involvement of the local community in deciding what’s on the board through competitions, events and the chance to nominate roads to feature.
Proceeds from every game sold will go directly to local charities and community groups.
Our Chief Executive, Jonathan Neame, said: “We are delighted to be among the famous Faversham landmarks and businesses to be included in the Faversham Monopoly project, which will be benefitting the local community.
“As Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame has been on its site in Faversham for centuries, with our brewers producing award-winning beers for generations of people to enjoy. We are pleased to be teaming up with another well-known name – Monopoly – to put Faversham’s stamp on a well-loved board game. Let the games begin!”
