Throw back to warmer weather... Loch Romach, Forres. Remote Loch which is well worth the trip by foot or bike to get there. I opted for e-bike. Myself and 2 friends actually organised a Moutain Bike race around this area when I was at school in Forres Academy. Part of SVS I beleive in the early 90s.

We got permission from Forrestry Commission, Sir Gordon-Cumming, sponsorship from Stuart's Cycles....

Ardclach Bell Tower above the River Findhorn. Probably built by Covenanter Alexander Brodie at a time of political and religious unrest in the mid 1600s. When Royalists attacked and plundered his estates, he likely built the tower to guard against his foes. Covenanters opposed King Charles I's religious reforms and his supporters, the Royalists.
