Stop throwing fivers at posts that aren't working.
Boosting a post that's already flopping is a bit like putting sprinkles on a stale donut. It might look a bit fancier, but it’s still not going to hit the spot.
Instead, use the ‘Fiver Rule’. Only put money behind the content that is already doing well on its own.
Keep a close eye on your ‘saves’. If people are tucking your post away for later, that’s your green light. Put £5 or £10 behind it to reach more local people who actually want to see what you’re doing.
You’re not trying to fix a bad post; you’re amplifying a great one.
