Allow me to (re)introduce myself! 👋

I’ve had a few new followers recently and updated my site so I thought now would be a good time to say a little “Hello”….and then I looked back through my feed and realised that the last time I introduced myself on here was…JUNE 2022…Woops!😬

So, here we go…

🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm Laura and I'm a Digital Marketing Consultant living in Somerset.⁠

👦🏼👧🏼 I started Freelancing almost two years ago as a way of being able to use my 15ish years of online marketing experience (and my brain!) while still being able to be present for my 2 kids… and I’m really glad I did! Although the juggle sometimes (a lot of the time!) feels pretty insane, I love being my own boss and the flexibility it gives me to work in an industry I love while still being able to be there for them.

🤓 I've worked in-house implementing Ecommerce strategies for a range of businesses from UK based start-ups to Global FTSE 250 brands.⁠

❤️ I now specialise in helping independent business owners align their Digital Strategy to better connect with their customers, using a range of online channels (SEO, Paid ads, Email Marketing etc.)

✨ NEW WEBSITE ✨

After weeks of faffing, my new website is NOW LIVE!🥳

I've been thinking for a while that my old site was looking tired, and well..a bit rubbish, so at the start of the year I took the plunge and decided to switch things up, move from Wordpress to Squarespace and (hopefully) create something that didn't make me cringe every time I looked at it!😬😆

I've updated my services a bit to hopefully make everything a bit clearer and with the help of the ever talented Celie Photo upgraded my images from photos taken by my husband in the back garden, to pro ones that make it look like I actually know what I'm doing!!🤓..I've not really "outsourced" things for my business before but am so glad that I did!

Back to business after a week playing in the Lakes with these guys!🥰

I’ve got lots of fun projects to get stuck into over the next few weeks which I’m very fortunate for.. it’s also nice not to be negotiating snacks every 20 minutes for the first time in a week!🤣🙈

✨ UPGRADE! ✨

After 18 months of working from the "Shoffice" (Sh*t-Office.. aka kitchen table / hot desking from my husbands desk) I finally have a workspace of my own! 🥳 What better reason to do my first post of 2023.🤷🏻‍♀️...and yes, I may have been overly influenced by Pinterest while looking for small desk inspo!😬🤣

As next week is half term (already!!??!) it may take me slightly longer to respond to emails, but I'll be back to normal (if not 20 times more productive thanks to the desk!) from the 20th.✌️
