When a brand you’ve followed for years asks you to re-design their website….you know there are puddings ahead.

Was it completely necessary to buy (sticky toffee) puddings at every meeting I had with the business owners?…..yes! Yes it was!

Was it necessary to still taste test when I “bumped into” Burtree Puddings at local shows Stanhope Show and Weardale Show?! ….yes! Totally necessary!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the team!

And their puddings are absolutely recommended!

Do you actually know what you are paying for?!?! Last week I was asked by a client to trace why IONOS were still taking payments for online products which we had moved to LJ Digital Media earlier in the year.

Unbeknown to the client, IONOS had set up a 3rd account for an email address and domain name she did not want, had never used and had not requested.

My client had no knowledge of setting this account up...but it had been. And there lies the issue. Often DIY website dashboards are simply so confusing and complicated that it is all too easy to sign up to something you do not want. This is not an isolated incident. I have had to resolve similar issues for several clients over the years.

So do be careful if you have been attracted by the discounts DIY website platforms offer. The discounts end. And it is all too easy to accidentally sign up to services you may not want.
