If you’ve been to one of our BBB events before, you’ll probably be familiar with our goodie bags.

We’ve loved giving attendees something to take away, but after doing them for a while, we felt it was time to change things up and do something that could make a difference beyond the morning itself.

Going forward, we’d like to swap our goodie bags for supporting a local charity or good cause instead. 🤝

It’s another way we can use BBB events to give something back to the local community, but now we need your recommendations!

Hayley explored what employers need to know about preventing sexual harassment in the workplace, why taking a proactive approach matters, and some of the practical steps SMEs can start taking now.

There was plenty for everyone in the room to think about, discuss, and take back to their own organisations.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for September’s Butties, Brains & Business event and helped make it another enjoyable morning. 🌞

A big thank you to Hayley Crawford for attending as our guest speaker to present “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace and Your Duty”, sharing her knowledge on such an important topic.

We also heard from Harry Haslam, who introduced us to Business Lincolnshire and shared the ways they can support local businesses. Thank you Harry, for joining us and sharing some really useful information!

And, of course, Chris Allbones from drumBEAT Marketing took on the challenge of creating a presentation from scratch using AI, live in the room and with input from our attendees!

There was lots of knowledge shared, plenty of useful conversations, tasty butties and, most importantly for an early start, plenty of caffeine. 🥓☕
