As we've been building out the Out The Box platform recently, one thing we've found ourselves talking about a lot is the balance between attracting new customers and keeping existing ones coming back.
Most businesses focus heavily on finding new customers, and rightly so. Growth depends on it. But what about the people who have already visited, bought from you or engaged with your business?
They've already shown an interest in what you do. They've already taken the time to choose you over somebody else.
The question is what happens next.
Do you know what they're interested in? Can you make future offers more relevant? Can you encourage them to return sooner, try something new or become a regular customer?
It's something we've become increasingly interested in at Jammy.
The game, reward or campaign might create the initial interaction, but the real value often comes afterwards. That's where stronger customer relationships are built and where loyalty starts to grow.
The more businesses we speak to, the more we believe the biggest opportunity isn't always attracting more customers. Sometimes it's creating more value from the customers you already have.
After all, the transaction isn't the finish line.
It's the start of the relationship.
