FINALLY MADE IT TO 10 YEARS!!!

April marks the 10th birthday of Advertise1, and it is only just now I am getting around to posting it. Bearing in mind, the 10-year mark was officially on Sunday, 6th April!

Loads has happened in that time, with starting out part-time in West Cumbria, doing small projects for friends and family, registered as self-employed in 2017, full time in 2018, and in 2020 registered as a limited company, with also having staff for a few years, and now back to working independently, as well as teaming up with other freelance workers and companies as and when the need is there, depending on the project.

Thank you to everyone who has helped and has been a part of this over the last decade! 🎉

Some people know, some people don't, one of the first things I did when I started my own business was to work out in Barcelona one week in every month for six months throughout 2019 (before the lockdown).

Apart from a holiday a few years ago, I am back working there again next week, five years later!

It will be interesting to see what has changed and what is still the same. My work pattern next week will be similar to usual, as my laptop will be with me, hopefully a bit more sun!

I'm looking forward to being back in a city that once felt like a second home!

This Monday marks four years since registering Advertise1 as a private limited company, with myself being self-employed previously.

Saying that, it was nearly 6 years ago when the company went full-time, and just over 9 years ago when I started the business as a part-time project.

Let's see what happens next, not long until 10 years since the business started, which is April 2025!!!

HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY!!!

April 2024 marks the 9th birthday of Advertise1, and a lot has happened in that time, part-time from my bedroom at my parent's house in West Cumbria doing small projects for friends and family, then full time in 2018, and in 2020 registered as a limited company, during that thing called lockdown.

It has definitely been a busy few months, especially since the last summer holidays (that feels so long ago... well, it was).

Thank you to everyone who has helped Advertise1 and cheers to another year. Can we make it to 10 years!!!

28th September 2018 marks the day of when Advertise1 went from a part-time to a full-time business. I still remember that morning well, which was me going into TusPark workspace in Newcastle and discussing my intentions for the business.

The last 5 years have definitely been a journey, and Advertise1 is still here to tell the tale today!

Today marks three years since registering Advertise1 as a private limited company, being self-employed previously.

3 years ago - Registered as a Limited Company.
Nearly 5 years ago - Went full-time.
Just over 8 years ago - Started the business part-time.

Let's see what else the future brings!!!

So... last Thursday... Advertise1 has won the Customer Service at the Microbusiness Unite North East Awards in South Shields!

Jon appreciates the award massively, and I know the team Phoebe and Michelle are happy with this, too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 8 WHOLE YEARS!!!

Today marks the 8th birthday of Advertise1, and a lot has happened in that time, from working on the company part-time from my bedroom at my parent's house in West Cumbria, doing small projects for friends and family, to then registered as self-employed in 2017, full time in 2018, and in 2020 registered as a limited company.

We are now in 2023, with Jon and Phoebe working closely together on projects today! We have definitely had a busy few months with projects now after so many lockdowns and uncertainty in the world.
