News from behind the scenes at Steph Briggs Marketing…

I’m now officially certified by the Association of Business Mentors and part of the Enterprise Nation Help to Grow scheme 🙌

Now, if you’re thinking “does this mean she’s gone all serious on us?”… absolutely not.

What it does mean is I’ve added another string to my bow. Alongside marketing strategy and copy, I can now support business owners in a more structured, bigger-picture way. The kind of conversations that go beyond “can you just rewrite this page?” and get into where your business is actually heading.

Truthfully, I’ve been doing elements of this for years. The chats, the problem-solving, the “hang on, let’s take a step back here” moments. This just formalises it and gives it a proper framework.

Being part of Help to Grow means I get to work with even more brilliant small businesses who are ready to grow, but might need a bit of clarity, confidence or a nudge in the right direction.

So yes… still your go-to for sparkling copy, content and marketing. Just with a bit more strategy (and a fancy certificate to prove it).

If you’re curious about mentoring or the Help to Grow scheme, pop me a message.

I’ve been working on something fabulous 💕

Over the past couple of years, I’ve worked with so many small business owners who are brilliant at what they do… but feel unsure when it comes to their marketing, website or what to focus on next.

That hasn’t changed. What has changed is how I can support people.

I’ve co-founded with .

It’s a structured membership designed for small business owners who want to stop guessing and start building their business with a bit more clarity and confidence.

Before anyone panics, this doesn’t replace what I do at Steph Briggs Marketing.

I’m still very much here, working with clients on SEO, websites and strategy in the same way I always have.

Pink Gorilla Collective is simply a different way to work with me.

Instead of one-to-one support, it’s a shared space.

Monthly SEO and website clinics
Social strategy sessions with Zoe
Structured co-working and accountability
A small, focused community

A place to work things out properly, without the noise.

I know that not everyone is in a position to invest in one-to-one support.

And I also know that sometimes what people really need is:

A bit of structure
A bit of direction
And the right people around them

That’s exactly what this is for.

We’re opening with a small group of founding members.

If you’d like to take a look or join the waitlist, I’ll pop the link below.

And as always, if you’re not sure which route is right for you, just ask.

You know how you see a QR code on your phone and then wonder how you’re supposed to open it when you ...have to use your camera.... on your phone.... ??!!

Well! Here’s how you do it:
Take a screenshot.
Save it to photos.
Open photos.
Press & Hold....and it’ll let your share, copy or open in your browser direct to the source.
Give it a go with this one (& feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn while you’re at it 😉)

Somewhere on that stage… that tiny dot in the middle is me. 👀

Ten years since I last spoke at a conference like this, and yesterday I was back on stage at **Ecommerce Scotland 2026** at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Standing at the back of the room, you’d never know how much adrenaline is going through you in that moment. But once the mic went on and the conversation started, I absolutely loved it.

A brilliant day talking about ecommerce, AI and the future of retail, and sharing the stage with some fantastic people.

Huge thanks to Dr John McCloy, Laura Blair and the Indez team for trusting me to be part of the speaker line-up.

Proof that sometimes the best thing you can do is say yes to the opportunity… even if it feels slightly terrifying at first.

Feeling very inspired (and ready to do more of this).

I’ve got a little blue tick next to my name. Yes, really.

Before anyone assumes I’ve suddenly become wildly famous (thankfully not), let me explain why I’ve done it… and also say a quick thank you to Zoe Pocock, who first suggested I look into verification and explained why she rates it for business.

For a small business, it actually makes a lot of sense.

First, credibility.
A verified profile tells people you’re a real person running a real business. In a world full of bots, fake accounts and suspicious messages starting with “Hi dear…”, that matters.

Second, visibility.
Verified profiles tend to get better reach and stronger placement in search. Which basically means Facebook is a little more likely to show your posts to actual humans rather than leaving them floating around in the digital wilderness.

Third, security.
You get extra protection against impersonation and hacking. When your business and reputation live online, that peace of mind is worth having.

And finally, customer confidence.
When someone lands on your profile for the first time, that little blue tick quietly says, “Yes, you’re in the right place.”

It’s not about ego. It’s about trust.

So thank you Zoe for the nudge. Sometimes the small tweaks in your marketing stack make more difference than you expect.

Have you thought about getting verified for your business, or do you think it’s unnecessary? I’d love to hear your take.

Thank you to the Financial Times for asking me to be part of this article.
Who else had a Saturday job? It taught me so many skills that school never did. Problem solving, personality types, how to deal with difficult situations…

I’ve added a photo of me in the 90’s in the comments… just for a giggle. Check out the perm!

Very excited (and bricking it a little if I’m honest) to share that I’ve been asked to speak at eCommerce Scotland.

I’m joining a brilliant panel alongside leaders from schuh, guitarguitar and Tiso to explore:

How do we keep the soul of the High Street while scaling digitally?

Because stores aren’t just shops anymore.
They’re fulfilment centres.
Experience hubs.
Content studios.
Community spaces.

With 69% of shoppers using Click & Collect, the line between physical and digital isn’t blurred — it’s gone.

I’ll be representing Retail Champion, sharing practical insight on omnichannel growth, in-store experience and the culture shift retail needs right now.

If you’re heading to eCommerce Scotland, I’d love to see some smiley faces!

Tickets are still available. 12th March

I changed my laptop wallpaper.
That’s it.

Instead of the default screen, I created a simple Canva vision board with:

• My revenue goal
• The kind of clients I want more of
• The words I want my brand known for
• A few images that reflect the lifestyle I’m building

Nothing mystical. Just visible focus.

Here’s what I’ve noticed: when you see something every single day, you make decisions differently. You pitch differently. You price differently. You prioritise differently.

It’s not about manifesting.
It’s about reminding yourself what you’re building.

This worked for me. It might work for you too.

If you’re growing a business and want smart, practical marketing ideas, follow along. I share what I’m testing, using and seeing results from.
