Every good story has chapters.

Today, we’re sharing that after four and a half unforgettable years, dot + del is going on hiatus.

Building an agency that puts purpose before profit was never going to be the easy option, but it has been the most rewarding thing we’ve ever done.

Together with our clients, charity partners, team, freelancers and supporters, we’ve donated more than £109,000 to charitable causes, championed organisations doing incredible work and proved that doing good and delivering great work really can go hand in hand.

There’s far too much to say in one social post, so we’ve shared a few reflections on the last four years, what we’ve learned and where we’re both heading next.

It was a privilege to attend the Access Unlocked event in Glasgow recently. Hosted by Inside Justice and funded by the Shoosmiths Foundation, this immersive experience pulls back the curtain on how forensic evidence truly works—and, crucially, how miscarriages of justice can happen.

Huge thanks to forensic expert Jo Millington and intelligence analyst Sam Robins for leading such a thought-provoking session.

We are incredibly proud to support Inside Justice as one of our charity partners this year. Their work investigating claims of wrongful conviction is vital to ensuring a fair and transparent justice system.

One of our previous charity partners, Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity supports children and their families, funding life-changing projects within Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital, ensuring each patient gets the care they deserve.

As you may know, 100% of dot + del’s profits are donated each year to a charity partner chosen by our team, board members and clients.

This year, we’re delighted to support not one, but two incredible organisations championing causes close to our hearts.

Inside Justice
Inside Justice works towards a more fair and transparent criminal justice system. The charity supports individuals who maintain they were wrongfully convicted, working alongside statutory and voluntary partners to investigate cases and challenge potential miscarriages of justice.

Their team of pro bono experts collaborates across the justice system to support individuals, improve transparency and push for meaningful reform.

Birthlink - Adults Affected by Adoption
Birthlink, based in Edinburgh, provides specialist support to adults affected by adoption with a Scottish connection. They offer guidance and emotional support to adopted adults, birth parents, and relatives, and they also assist professionals across Scotland. Their work includes facilitating contact and reunion, maintaining the Adoption Contact Register for Scotland, and helping people access historic adoption and care records.

This charity has personally helped our MD Hayley’s mother find her birth family after more than 60 years. It also holds a special place in the heart of our chair + founder, Susie, whose mother (Dot) was adopted....

We’re incredibly proud to support the important work both organisations do and can’t wait to get started.
