Emojis are fun, quirky ways of adding character and a pop of colour to your copy - but you may want to ease up on them!

Using a huge amount of emojis can be harmful for accessibility, as screen readers will read a literal translation of each of them.

Try to use emojis more sparingly, and use them at the end of sentences so they don't interfere with the text 😉

Using images in your social posts? Improve your accessibility with alt text!

Alt text - or 'alternative text' - is a descriptive piece of text that details exactly what is going on in your image. This allows people using screen readers to understand exactly what is happening.

Using alt text can help make your content more accessible to everyone 😊
