We work with clients ranging in size from single person businesses up to companies of over 1,000 staff spread across multiple UK wide sites. Our clients range geographically from South East England right up to the north of Scotland. These are not ‘remote relationships’ we put in the time and effort to regularly meet with our clients regardless of their location. We are very proud to still be a trusted resource by one of our very first clients of over 15 years after first engaging with Soapworks Ltd in 1999. Hands up if you like gin!

A number of years ago, The Torridon Hotel saw an opportunity to develop their own Gin. In conjunction with award-winning Dunnet Bay Distillers, they wanted to bottle the essence of The Highlands and give it a unique flavour.

We're pleased to say this is still a project we're part of and have helped to brand the newer incarnations of Arcturus - namely their recently-released Sloe Gin Edition.

We were approached by Murrayshall in 2020 and tasked with revitalising their brand to sit in line with their forthcoming plans for estate expansion.

Our job was to tackle the lack of knowledge of Murrayshall and what it offers whilst growing awareness to a new audience further afield. With a 4 star, bespoke luxury offering ready to launch, we aimed to define a new value proposition that would appeal to an affluent market without alienating the local audience.

Recently, we were tasked by the Isle of Mull Hotel to design a bespoke brochure and printed collateral for their recently launched Driftwood Spa, a project that has recently been featured by G.F. Smith.

For the brochure cover, a die-cut logo was applied to 270gsm, giving a glimpse of the dramatic surroundings printed within and inviting the reader to explore. The addition of Damask emboss introduces a tactile element, reflecting the rugged landscape. The piece is bound with white wire stitching, and the back internal page features a subtle pocket to house visitor details and appointments.

Inside, atmospheric photography of the Isle of Mull captures the spa’s wild and unique location. Printing by Pressision onto Mohawk Options 100% PC White Vellum 148gsm holds the sharp detail and allows the colour tones of the images to shine through. The brochure and cards were photographed by Ryan Johnston.

As part of a recent rebrand for one of our clients, Orroland Holiday Cottages, we have been working with artist Liz Myhill on creating linocut illustrations that capture the character of Orroland and build a real sense of place.

It has been amazing to see the various stages in the process from initial sketches (01), colour tests (02) through to the cutting of the lino and the final pieces. We can't wait to share this project with you!

is once again upon us, which means it's time to look back at a project we've really enjoyed and are proud of.

This week we're looking back at our work with Dickie & Moore Homes, a client we still work with today.

We were approached by Dickie & Moore to help them with the relaunch and repositioning of their housing development brand.

From the outset, we knew it was important that Dickie & Moore Homes had its own identity that would sit alongside the parent brand with its own values and audience. We worked closely with Dickie & Moore to ensure that the brand moved away from its current construction and industrial aesthetic.

A sneak peek of some behind the scenes filming that we did earlier this year for Cawdor Castle. With such an incredible wealth of curiosities in the castle, it was difficult to decide what to include - you'll just have to visit it yourself to see it all!

We think that the juxtaposition of our 2020 model camera capturing a bronze age funeral beaker dating back to 1500bc is a perfect example of the variety we get to experience in our work here at SHINE. A great client that we still love working with.

It's , which means it's time to take a look back on some work that we've been particularly proud of. This week we're looking back on our project for Mara, a contemporary dining concept presenting gifts from Scotland’s waters, fields, forests & skies, with minimal interruption.

Our identity was designed to reflect the ethos of innovative dishes created from local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients. A bespoke word marque was created to reflect the land and waters of the highlands of Scotland. The identity is intentionally stripped back and refined to reflect the dishes with the core ingredients being the star of the show.

Today is World Sight Day, an annual event that aims to draw attention to a range of issues surrounding blindness and visual impairment. To mark this important day, we wanted to look back at some of the work we've done with Visibility Scotland - Supporting People with Sight Loss.

Being a charity that was heavily focused around those with visual impairments, it was essential that accessibility was at the very heart of the project and was to be considered at every step of the way.

We're proud to support a charity that's making such a difference to the lives of those living with visual impairment and blindness, and to have worked with them on their new website. You can see it here https://visibilityscotland.org.uk/
