MCP is moving into the mainstream.

OpenAI just launched its Apps SDK. Based on MCP.

Ask Spotify to make a playlist. Ask Canva to turn your outline into slides. Browse homes with Zillow. All through conversation.

No switching. No clicking through menus. Apps appear when you need them.

This is what Satya Nadella predicted: "The very notion that applications even exist, that's probably where they'll all collapse in the Agent era."

He was right. Traditional UI/UX is dissolving. Conversation is becoming the interface.

My team has been building custom MCP servers for months. Our number one question when evaluating a new tool used to be: "Does it have a user-friendly UI?"

Now it's: "Does it have a good API?"

OpenAI's new Apps SDK starts to tackle some of the UI challenges we've faced with MCP servers. It shows what's possible when agents orchestrate across systems.

We just launched our first Chrome extension last week and wanted to share it with you.
