Supporting Aberlour Children’s Charity
It’s nice to be able to, as a team, give something back, but it’s also nice to be told it’s helping!

We received a special letter from Abby at Aberlour this week, our chosen charity for 2023, thanking Advanceworx and letting us know it’s making a difference.

With many challenges, for many, at this time, there’s a great feeling when you hear, even a little support goes a long way.

Sending our Annual Season's Greetings.

This year for our Season's Greeting's campaign, we have chosen to donate to Loaves and Fishes EK and a fantastic effort by the Advanceworx team in donating the sum of £500.00 toward the excellent work the charity does.

Many rely on the efforts and dedication of Loaves and Fishes because traditional support systems don't work. People from broken homes, many who have suffered an illness that prevents working, debt or just struggling to cope with daily life are supported by this great charity and its volunteers. As we prepare to say farewell to 2020 and welcome 2021, we wanted to send our annual Christmas Wishes to all our network. We hope next year will be a safe, peaceful and prosperous one for everybody.

Each year, Advanceworx choose a charity to donate to, and this year we are delighted to provide our support to Cash For Kids and donate £500.00 towards the fantastic work they do.

Cash For Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect and life-limiting illness, as well as those who have additional needs in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. The charity is also backed by Sir Tom Hunter, who underwrites all the running costs – meaning every penny of donations reaches the children in most need of it, and we applaud their extensive work.

We were informed by the charity that our donation will allow them to support 14 children to have a better Christmas, one filled with food, warm clothing and a small gift to open on Christmas morning. Not much for anyone to ask for.
