Our David Craik was back on the speaker circuit this week, representing Bright Signals in the annual Amplify Debate at The Marketing Society Scotland's Amplify Festival.
This year’s motion was a big one: “The Government is right to ban social media for under 16s.” Davie was arguing in favour, delivering his team’s opening and closing statements and batting away plenty of challenges along the way. No presentation, no props… 😬
He was in esteemed company too, joined in the debate by Michael Goldberg of Carat Edinburgh, Christine Moorhouse of Scottish Rugby and our client Nicola Thomson of Glasgow Life, who led the opposition and proved a pretty formidable opponent.
A lively, thoughtful and very good-humoured debate all round, with Davie’s side coming out on top in the final audience vote 💪🔥
Great stuff! And a brilliant event. 💛
