Has there ever been a more varied end to a year? 🙌

A quick phone dump from recent shoots says it all. 📸

From snowy slopes to the desert, and Balearic runways to breakfast chocolate fountains… it’s been a wild one.

We’ve worked with amazing people, been in some ridiculous locations, and racked up hours of footage still waiting to be brought to life .

Also: a ski slope in the Arctic Circle and the roof of our favourite stadium 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (and plenty we can’t really show!).

But this week, we’re back in the studio. First one in a while without a shoot on the calendar. The festive playlist is on, the edit suites are humming, and we’re locking in some fun new projects for 2026.

Here’s to ending the year with a bit of calm, and some big energy for 2026 💪

Fresh Cuts - Back for 2026!

It’s been a busy old time here, so we’re a bit late getting this out there!

At the start of this year, we teamed up with and to develop something completely unique in the world of sport - Fresh Cuts, a collaborative skills development programme for aspiring creators in the Scottish mountain bike scene.

Our journey at Cut Media has taken us everywhere - from the Dakar Rally to Silverstone for F1, from the Bernabéu to the roof of Murrayfield (literally, just at the weekend!).

But our roots (and our first love) are firmly in Scotland’s outdoors and mountain biking, the place that gave us the platform to learn our craft and build a business.

We approached Fresh Cuts with the goal of passing on what would have helped us get a foot in the door at the start. And it seems that, in year one, it was quite the success.

So… it’s back for 2026.
 Applications for Fresh Cuts 2 are now open! Six successful candidates will begin their placements in January 2026, with the programme running through to June 2026.

All 282 Munros up and down? Completed it, mate.

Huge congrats to , who, after 8.5 years, has just completed his mission to ride down all of Scotland’s Munros. What a journey.

We were lucky enough to follow Sean for some of the final legs of his challenge, helping direct and produce a documentary for the BBC’s ‘Our Lives’ series. The film captures the highs, lows, and everything in between as he edges closer to the finish line, all while juggling work, family life, and the Scottish weather.

Spending time with and as they looked back on their iconic rivalry was something special.
