A huge thank you to the Prestige Hotel Awards for having us as sponsors for the second year running. ✨
What a fantastic night! 🙌🏼

We’ll admit… taking sunglasses as a giveaway to an indoor black tie evening event felt like a bit of a gamble 😅🕶️
Did we get a few strange looks at first? Maybe one or two 😂 But in a room full of 500 people, the majority absolutely loved the concept… because who doesn’t love a prop for a photo? 📸

With shades becoming such a trend right now for birthdays, hen dos, baby showers and celebrations of every kind, we thought, why not?
And honestly, by the end of the night everyone was wearing them, posing for photos and adding to the atmosphere of the evening.

Now here’s where it gets clever 👀
People weren’t just taking photos at the event - they were taking photos with the sunglasses on. Which meant in so many of those pictures, the event branding and our logo were clearly visible too.
A fun giveaway suddenly became part of the marketing, the memories and the social content all at once 🙌

It’s a good reminder that event merchandise doesn’t always have to be the “safe” option. Sometimes the best products are the ones that become part of the experience.

And when you’ve got the Stoltman Brothers from World's Strongest Man and Des Clarke getting involved too, you know the idea was a success 😎
