20 Years Later
Seeing as I'm the one who usually runs the Ross Promotional social media, it felt a bit awkward writing a post about how amazing I am. 😉
So today I'm not posting as Ross Promotional.
I'm posting as Gemma.
I started at Ross the day after my 17th birthday. Which meant I couldn't even celebrate with a drink...
..because I was only 17.
Underage drinking? Never heard of it. 🙄
I walked through the doors as a clueless teenager who knew absolutely nothing about promotional merchandise, pantone colours or why anyone would get excited over a pen.
20 years later… OMG have you seen this pen?
I've been lucky enough to spend those 20 years with some of the best people.
Stuart, Susan and Lorraine have been there from day one, while Jie has been part of the Ross family for the past 8 years... although, I've actually known him for over 30 years.
When you spend so much time with your work colleagues, they end up knowing absolutely everything about you. They have celebrated the biggest milestones of my life with me & picked me up through some of the toughest.
To all my colleagues, past and present, thank you for being part of my promo story. It's been a pleasure working alongside every one of you.
To our incredible supply chain partners, some of whom I’ve grown up with, thank you for the laughs, the late night deadline panics, the best nights socialising and the friendships that have lasted decades.
And to my clients... I have worked with some of you for 10, 15 and even 20 years! Thank you for trusting me and choosing Ross Promotional. The fact that so many of you come back to me time and time again means more than you know.
So to everyone who's been part of the last 20 years...
Thank you for the opportunities, the friendships, the laughs and most importantly, the memories. 💙
