Spreng Thomson offers fully-funded support in Design Thinking through the Glasgow Business Growth Programme, run by Glasgow City Council. 💡

We recently worked with art and design studio Friends of Wilson through the programme to support the launch and promotion of Linear, the business’s first lighting product.

Using Design Thinking we helped shape a clear and distinctive message around the product, its circular economy principles and its place within the commercial interior sector.

As part of the project, we launched the product on Dezeen, a globally recognised design and architecture magazine, and created a social media campaign showcasing the creation of the product and its features.

We supported our client, Forth Green Freeport, yesterday as they welcomed Tom Arthur MSP, Minister for Business and Fair Work, to Forth Valley College in Falkirk to take part in an engaging roundtable discussion with Grangemouth stakeholders on the Freeport’s role in driving industrial transformation, supporting Scotland’s net zero ambitions, attracting inward investment and creating high-quality employment opportunities.

Forth Green Freeport partners including Forth Ports, INEOS, CalaChem, Forth Valley College, Scottish Enterprise and Falkirk Council took part in the roundtable alongside the Minister, discussing the role the FGF is playing in a number of different projects across their respective organisations and how the FGF’s activities align with The Scottish Government priorities across the economy, skills and net zero.

It was a great opportunity to mark this important event working alongside the Forth Green Freeport, Scottish Government and Forth Valley College teams on planning, media activity, digital content and videography.

Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) is one of Scotland’s largest housing associations, providing over 5,500 high quality affordable social rented homes across the country. 🏠

Supporting a wide range of external communications activities, including media management, stakeholder engagement and social media management, we support their team to ensure that the important work they do for tenants and communities is not only seen but builds their reputation as an organisation which drives positive change in the housing sector – raising living standards and addressing the housing emergency.

CHA recently won Housing Association of the Year for the second year running at the prestigious Scottish Home Awards and we are proud to play a role in helping them continue their success.

Here’s what Vikki Merrilees, Communications & Engagement Lead at Caledonia said about her experience working with us. 💬

Some action shots from Vicky Allan’s recent visit to the Port of Leith to see first hand the exciting work taking place as our client, Forth Projects, supports Inch Cape during the construction phase of Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm. 🏗️

The Spreng Thomson team has been on site in Leith on a number of occasions to see the progress of the project and to be able to welcome Vicky and The Herald's photographer, Gordon Terris, to experience the size and scale of the work and discuss what goes into making such a large project like this tick with members of the team was fantastic.
