Supporting Scotland’s armed forces community 🤝🎖️

Our team has been working with Veterans Scotland as they brought together the Scottish Armed Forces community for the first Armed Forces Champion Gathering since 2019.

Strategic communications planning, media management, stakeholder engagement and digital support have all played a key role. We helped ensure the gathering reached the right audiences, creating opportunities for meaningful collaboration between veterans and organisations who can support them.

We liaised with Scottish Government, with recently appointed Minister for Parliamentary Business and Veterans Jamie Hepburn in attendance, and captured the event for social media, conducting video interviews with those championing partnership working in support of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.

There was great excitement in the room, with important conversations taking place around how best to address the challenges veterans face as well as the important role the armed forces community plays across the country.

Fishers strengthens its operations ahead of peak season ⚙️🚛

Preparing for another busy peak season, Scottish-based commercial laundry and textile rental company, Fishers, has completed the installation of six new Jensen dryers at its laundry in Cupar, Fife.

Fishers invested £900,000 into the project which was completed within one week and with minimal disruption to its customers.

David Emslie, Operations Director at Fishers, said: “During peak season, we wash, dry and iron more than two million pieces of laundry every week. Continuous improvement to our systems and processes is essential to keep delivering the best laundry services we can for our customers, no matter what size they are.

“We are always looking at ways of innovating to help drive business growth and with the recent investment in new drying equipment we have significantly enhanced our operational capabilities in Cupar.”

With the Scottish elections fast approaching, many organisations have a valuable opportunity to engage with political stakeholders at an early stage.

There will be a record influx of new members to the Scottish Parliament, with a number of long standing and influential MSPs not seeking re-election. This creates a unique window to build relationships early and help shape understanding as priorities and policy agendas develop.

Where our expertise comes in, is helping our clients navigate the political landscape with confidence through:
🔹 Building early relationships with decision-makers
🔹 Positioning their organisation as a credible and constructive voice
🔹 Ensuring their priorities are understood as policy agendas take shape

If you’re considering how to engage more proactively with elected officials, our team would love to chat with you.
